Description

    APPLICATION FIELD
  • The present patent of utility model belongs to the travel and personal articles field aiming at a practical and innovating set of luggage that may be transported either vertically as horizontally, through wheels installed on all suitcases of the set, and duly positioned for transporting in any of the referenced positions, helped by a traction element, defined as a telescopic or removable and foldable rod, common to all suitcases, when used jointly or as a unit, since the other ones are not grouped together.
  • The suitcases have decreasing volumes with regard to the main suitcase, and when transported all together, it can only be done in the horizontal position and to accomplish that, the removable traction telescopic rod has its lower end fixed with free movement on a mounting present at the edge center of the greater upper face of the main suitcase.
  • All other secondary suitcases when transported piled horizontally over the main suitcase, or on the first one or others placed above, have a passage tunnel in the center of one of the edges of greater extension of the greater horizontal planes, in which the telescopic rod passes over to be fixed on the chosen base suitcase, normally the bigger one.
  • Therefore, is a set of suitcases developed with perfection and efficiency, with the purpose of offering an independent transport way by the own user, which provides great reliability with regard either for its functional characteristics as for the product durability.
  • It is yet the goal of the present patent request to present a self-transportable set of suitcases, with low cost for its industrial feasibility, connected with the requisites of sturdiness, safety and useful practical capacity that offers to the consuming public, an additional option on the similar market that contrarily to the known models of luggage sets, offers countless possibilities and benefits to its users, becoming a model of great acceptance in the consuming market.
  • Arrangement History
  • The production of rigid and semi-rigid suitcases, with handles, has developed until the modern implantation of integrated transport systems, such as Wheels and locking rods, retractable or not, being possible to observe in airports, bus stations and sea ports, several models of traveling bags and suitcases with the same technology and tendency, some more sophisticated and expensive and others simpler and of lesser cost.
  • It is common that tourists carry personal belongings such as miscellaneous pieces of clothing, shoes, etc., on volumes defined as suitcases, and until some years ago, the traveler needed to transport and carry them through the handles and immediately felt the excess of effort or weight when carrying them for small distances, even more when there was the need of carrying more than a suitcase volume.
  • This inconvenience was resolved either for suitcases as for student's backpacks, when manufacturers developed suitcases, traveler bags and backpacks equipped with transporting wheels and retractable driving rods and only exposed when there is the need of transporting the volume.
  • Despite the evolution regarding suitcases with wheels and retractable carrying handle for self-transporting, the task of transporting them, mainly when there is a large number of volumes, the wheels and traction rods already do not make so much difference as for the necessary effort so that the traveler may carry them without the presence of a load supporting device or more people to help with this task.
  • Deficient Points on State of Technique
  • When traveling, mainly to other countries, for pleasure or recreation or even for business, normally the passenger carries more than a suitcase volume, mainly when accompanied by his/her family and, when destination is reached, the traveler faces the need of having at hand a carrying device for his/her suitcase volumes.
  • In the great majority of the international airports and even domestic airports, the suitcase transporting devices are made available upon payment, normally at least a coin or local bill of same values, that is, there is the need of paying the required amount so that one can utilize the device.
  • For such rental, the tourist rarely takes the time for exchanging amounts in local exchange places, therefore, it arises the great difficulty in temporarily renting a suitcase transporting device.
  • The sets of suitcase existent in the market do not permit aligning a suitcase over the other in such a way to permit that the user has not to contract third parties' transporting devices in airports. The existing suitcases are made for being carried one by one or with help of one of these transporting devices or greater number of people.
  • Until now, nobody knows any document reflecting the state of technique of putting suitcase over suitcase, transporting them together with a load transporting element already incorporated and removable.
  • Summary of the Arrangement
  • When observing the difficulties encountered by travelers, in moments of arrival or even of departure, for carrying their suitcases and volumes, specially the difficulty of contracting a local and temporary device or load transporting device, normally with excessive cost due the demand excess, took the inventor, after several researches and person connected to this field, to create and develop the object of the present patent, which ideates the “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED ON SUITCASE WITH INTEGRATED TRANSPORTING DEVICE”, whose technique foresees a set of self-transportable suitcases when placed in the horizontal position, which are passed over as being blocked by a telescopic or folding rod, allowing the user to transport them as if it was a unique volume in which not only the mechanical and functional qualities were considered in its fabrication project, by also the form, the arrangement and localization of its parts and components that, correctly positioned, have brought an efficiency increase without presenting any cost.
  • In order to resolve such issues of difficulties and discomforts to the users, it was redesigned the existing conventional model of suitcase sets, with the proposal of constructing a new model or set of suitcases that could have a self-transportable integrated device as if the set of suitcases was just a volume.
  • By adding two conventional transporting wheels (which rotate 360 degrees) at the lesser top face, corresponding to the volume vertical position, made it possible that the suitcase could be supported on the wheels in the horizontal position, in such a way to permit that the user lay it on the floor in order to put the others with same or different models, one over the other, which made feasible to align them and proceed to the transportation with a greater number of suitcases at the same time.
  • It was also designed a removable puller and then transport them with greater easiness, once the set of suitcases runs with four wheel units either vertically or horizontally.
  • The set of suitcases for personal belongings is produced with raw-materials of high strength, four lower transportation wheels (which rotate 360 degrees) made of resistant and soft rubber to accept any type of surface, plus two upper transportation wheels (which also rotate 360 degrees), for when the suitcase is pulled or pushed in the horizontal position, with all other suitcases over it, besides integrating the removable drive to simplify the dislocation of the set.
  • Therefore, it is easy to understand that the new model of self-transportable suitcase set is extremely simple in its construction being thus of easy feasibility, however, excellent results, practical and functional, are obtained, offering an innovative construction over the known models of set of suitcases.
  • Idealized with innovative design, results in a harmonic set, of aspect highly peculiar and principally characteristic, once besides the constructive aspect the model is highlighted by its versatility and convenience of utilization.
