Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to an automatic fast rewinder for shaftless packing film, particularly to one rewinding a large packing film roll into plural small packing film rolls without a winding shaft, shortening time needed for rewinding, stepping up production and saving cost with environmental friendly effects.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Packing films are generally made by rewinding a large packing film roll into plural small packing film rolls by means of a rewinder to facilitate using packing film. A conventional rewinder for this purpose shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 includes a body 10, a support frame 11 fixed on the body 1 for holding a large packing film roll (a) thereon, plural guide wheels 12 and a pressing wheel 13 installed on the body 1 for moving the packing film of the large roll. Then the packing film (a) of the large roll is pulled by rotation of the guide wheel pressed down by the pressing wheel 13 located at the last guide wheel 12. The rewinder is further provided with a feeding unit 14 and a pinching unit 15 installed on the body 1 and a hot line cutting unit 16 installed on the body 1, and a receptive box 17 placed at one side of the body 1 for storing plural tubular winding shafts (b) made of paper or plastic.
  • In using, the tubular winding shaft (b) is pushed one by one by the feeding unit 14 to the pinching unit 15, which then pinches the winding shaft (b) tightly, with the packing film (a) pulled by the guide wheels 12 to the winding shaft (b). Then the winding shaft (b) is rotated, winding the packing film (a) continually until the winding shaft (a) with the wound packing film has a needed diameter, and then the pinching unit 15 carries the winding shaft (b) upward and leftward to the hot line cutting unit 16, which then cuts off the packing film (a) off the large roll, finishing rewinding the large packing film roll into one small film roll with one round of operation.
  • The conventional rewinder can rewind the packing film (a) into only one small film roll by one round of operation, so its production is slow, not effective. Moreover, the winding shaft (b) has to be discarded after the mall packing film roll is used up, making a waste to polluting the environment, with the cost for the winding shafts lost.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The purpose of the invention is to offer an automatic fast rewinder for shaftless packing film, which can rewind a large roll of packing film into four small rolls with one rotation of a rotary wheel, shortening time needed for rewinding, boosting production and efficiently protecting the environment with no waste of winding shafts by using reusable inflatable shaft for rewinding work.
  • The features of the invention are a body, a feeding box, a pair of rotary discs positioned to be separated from each other with a certain gap and four pairs of pinching heads connected with a moving device and passing through the pair of rotary discs in a equidistantly spaced apart condition, plural guide wheels, a pressing wheel, a saw-teeth cutting unit, and a collect unit. Then plural inflatable shafts inflated are placed in the feeding box and then are orderly moved down through the guide passage of the feeding box to a first position that the first inflated shaft is to be pinched one by one on by a first pair of pinching heads of the rotary discs, which are then rotated one time for 90 degrees to let the first inflated shaft on the first pair of pinching heads moved to a second position where the first inflated shaft is located nearby the last guide wheel so that packing film of the large roll is wound on the first inflated shaft on the first pair of pinching heads to a needed length. Then the pair of rotary discs is rotated again for 90 degrees to let the first pairs of pinching heads move to a third position where the first inflated shaft with the wound packing film is moved to a third position where the first inflated shaft is located near the saw-teeth cutting unit, so the first inflated shaft wound with the wound packing film is cut off the large roll, and then released by the first pair of pinching heads that are pulled outward by the moving device and then dropped with its own weight to the collect unit where the first inflated shaft wound with the packing film is picked up and then the inflated shaft is deflated to shrink and pulled off to make a finished small packing film roll with no shaft. Meanwhile, a second pair of pinching heads is moved to the first position by one quarter rotation of the pair of rotary disc to pinch a second inflated shaft by the moving device, and in the way that the first inflated shaft is wound with the packing film, moved, cut off and dropped on the collect unit, the second inflated shaft is wound with packing film and moved, cut and dropped on the collect unit in order. Therefore one round of whole rotation of the pair of rotary discs can produce four small packing film rolls with no winding shaft.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A preferred embodiment of an automatic fast rewinder for shaftless packing film in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, includes a body 2, a support frame 20, plural guide wheels 21, a pressing wheel 22, a feeding box 3, a pair of rotary discs 4, a saw-teeth cutting unit 5, a collect unit 7 and plural inflatable shafts 7.
  • The support frame 20 is positioned on the body 1 for holding a large roll of packing film (a).
  • The plural guide wheels 21 and the pressing wheel 22 are arranged orderly on the body 2 and rotated to move the packing film (a) from the large roll held on the support frame 20.
  • The feeding box 3 is placed on the body 2 for containing a number of the inflatable shafts 7 in the inflated condition, provided with a guide passage 30 extending down from one side of the bottom for the inflated shafts 7 to orderly falling down, and a stopper 31 fixed at a lower end of the guide passage 30 for stopping a lowest inflated shaft 7.
  • The pair of rotary discs 4 is installed to face each other and separated by a distance longer than the length of the inflatable shaft 7 under the guide passage 30 and four pairs of pinching heads 40 movably fitted through the pair of rotary discs 4 equidistantly spaced apart around the rotary discs 4 for being moved inward and outward to pinch and release the inflated shaft 7 remained at the stopper by means of a moving unit and rotating together with the rotary discs 4 at the same time.
  • The saw-teeth cutting unit 5 is located at one side of the rotary discs 4 for cutting off packing film (a) of a large roll after rewound on the inflated shaft 7 and the inflated shaft 7 with the wound packing film becomes a small roll of packing film (a) with the inflated shaft 7.
  • The collect unit 6 is located to extend from under the rotary discs 4 to the outside of the body 2 for collecting the small packing film rolls after released from the pair of pinching heads 40.
  • The inflatable shaft 7 is provided with a rubber cover 70 round its outer surface and to be inflated for use and deflated after the small roll of packing film (a) is finished.
  • In using, as shown in FIGS. 4-7, a number of the inflatable shafts 7 are in advance inflated to expand outward the rubber cover 70, and then placed in the feeding box 3. The inflated shafts 7 therein then naturally fall orderly in the guide passage 30 to let the lowest one reach the stopper 31 and stopped there. Then the lowest inflated shaft 7 (or the first one) is aligned to a first pair of the pinching heads 40, which are then moved inward to pinch two ends of that first inflated shaft 7 at a first position just under the stopper tightly between the pair of the rotary discs 4, and the rotary discs 4 are subsequently to be rotated always clockwise for 90 degrees, or one quarter of a circle, to carry the first pair of the pinching heads 40 together with the first inflated shaft 7 to contact with one side of the last guide wheel 21, with a second pair of the pinching heads 40 rotated at the same time to the first position just under the lower end of the guide passage 30 and moved inward to pinch another inflated shaft 7, so on a third and a fourth inflated shaft 7 pinched by a third and a fourth pair of pinching heads 40. Next, the inflated shaft 7 at a second position, or at the side of the last guide wheel 21 is to be wound with the packing film (a) of the large roll moved by the guide wheels 21 until the diameter of the wound inflated shaft 7 with the packing film (a) reaches the needed one. Then the rotary discs 4 are rotated again for 90 degrees to move the small picking film roll just finished rewinding to a third position that is opposite to the first position, with the packing film (a) of the large roll pulled and with the saw-teeth cutting unit 5 swinging upward to cut the packing film (a) off the large roll. Then the finished small packing film roll of the first inflated shaft 7 is released from the pair of the pinching heads 40 that is moved outward by the moving unit, and drops down on the collect unit 6. In the meantime, the second inflated shaft 7 at the first position is rotated for a quarter circle by the rotary discs and then wound with the packing film (a) of the large roll at the second position, and so on. In this way the four pairs (the first, the second, the third and the fourth) of pinching heads 40 can carry four inflated shafts 7 to be rewound with packing film (a) and release them to let them drop on the collect unit one by one, and then the inflated shaft 7 is deflated to enable it pulled off, finishing making four small packing film rolls with no winding shaft by one round of full rotation of the rotary discs 4, speeding up operation of rewinding the large roll into plural small rolls of the packing film (a) without a shaft. In this way, finished small packing film rolls need no winding shafts (b), saving a lot cost of and being very effective for protecting the environment by reusing the inflatable shafts.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

the feeding box (3) is placed on the body (2) for containing a number of the inflatable shafts (7) in inflated condition, provided with a guide passage (30) extending down from one side of a bottom thereof for the inflated shafts (7) to orderly fall down, and a stopper (31) fixed at a lower end of the guide passage (30) for stopping a lowest inflated shaft (7);
the pair of rotary discs (4) is installed to face each other and separated by a distance longer than a length of the inflatable shaft 7 under the guide passage 30 and four pairs of pinching heads 40 movably fitted through the pair of rotary discs 4 equidistantly spaced apart around the rotary discs 4 for being moved inward and outward to pinch and release the inflated shaft 7 remained at the stopper by means of a moving unit and rotating together with the rotary discs 4 at the same time;
the saw-teeth cutting unit 5 is located at one side of the rotary discs 4 for cutting off packing film of a large roll after rewound on the inflated shaft 7 and the inflated shaft 7 with the wound packing film becomes a small roll of packing film with the inflated shaft 7;
the collect unit 6 is located to extend from under the rotary discs 4 to an outside of the body 2 for collecting the small packing film rolls after released from the pair of pinching heads 40;
each inflatable shaft 7 is provided with a rubber cover 70 round its outer surface and to be inflated for use and deflated after the small roll of packing film is finished;
wherein in using, a number of the inflatable shafts 7 are in advance inflated, and then placed in the feeding box 3; the inflated shafts 7 therein then naturally fall orderly in the guide passage 30 to let the lowest one reach the stopper 31 and stopped there; then the lowest inflated shaft 7 is aligned to a first pair of the pinching heads 40, which are then moved inward to pinch two ends of that first inflated shaft 7 at a first position just under the stopper tightly between the pair of the rotary discs 4, and the rotary discs 4 are subsequently to be rotated through 90 degrees, to carry the first pair of the pinching heads 40 together with the first inflated shaft 7 to contact with one side of the last guide wheel 21, with a second pair of the pinching heads 40 rotated at the same time to the first position just under the lower end of the guide passage 30 and moved inward to pinch another inflated shaft 7, next, the inflated shaft 7 at a second position, or at the side of the last guide wheel 21 is to be wound with the packing film of the large roll moved by the guide wheels 21; then the rotary discs 4 are rotated again through 90 degrees to move the small picking film roll just finished rewinding to a third position that is opposite to the first position, with the packing film of the large roll pulled and with the saw-teeth cutting unit swinging upward to cut the packing film off the large roll, then the finished small packing film roll of the first inflated shaft 7 is released from the pair of the pinching heads 40 that is moved outward by the moving unit, and drops down on the collect unit 6; and then the inflated shaft 7 is deflated to enable it pulled off, finishing making four small packing film rolls with no winding shaft by one round of full rotation of the rotary discs 4, speeding up operation of rewinding the large roll into plural small rolls of the packing film (a) without a shaft; in this way, finished small packing film rolls need no winding shafts; saving a lot cost of and being very effective for protecting the environment by reusing the inflatable shafts.
