Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The invention generally relates to a temperature regulating device. More particularly, the invention relates to a temperature regulating device that may be worn by a user.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Heat or coldness can cause discomfort to our body. Our normal body temperature is about 37. Heat generated by our body must be dissipated. When the ambient temperature is too high, such heat cannot be dissipated and we would feel uncomfortable. When the ambient temperature is too low, such heat dissipates quickly and we would feel cold. According to the relevant studies, the suitable ambient temperature range is 19 to 24 for summer and 12 to 22 for winter.
  • When the ambient temperature is too high or too low, people would take off their clothes or wear more clothes. In addition, people may use tools to regulate their body temperature.
  • Such tools include warm pack, fan, small fan, air conditioner and heater. Because the warm pack is thrown out after a period of use, it is not environmentally friendly. While, when the small fan is used, a user has to hold it; therefore, it is not convenient to use. In addition, batteries power it; therefore, it is also not environmentally friendly.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a temperature regulating device that may be worn by the use and is easy to use and carry.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a temperature regulating device where solar power is used to reduce the pollution on the environment.
  • To reach these objects, the temperature regulating device of the present invention is disclosed. The temperature regulating device of the present invention comprises a C-shape portion 1, at least a solar panel 2 and a small fan 3. A space is provided in the C-shape portion 1. Several outlets 13 are disposed on top of the C-shape portion 1. Several inlets 14 are disposed on the bottom of the C-shape portion 1. The solar panel 2 is disposed on the outer side of the C-shape portion 1 to absorb sunlight so as to convert it to electricity. The small fan 3 is electrically connected with the solar panel 2 and is disposed in a space of the C-shape portion 1. Therefore, a user may wear the device 100 and use the solar panel to generate electricity. The device is easy to carry and use and is environmentally friendly.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The drawings disclose an illustrative embodiment of the present invention, which serves to exemplify the various advantages and objects hereof, and are as follows:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating the device the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a side view illustrating the device the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is a top view illustrating the device the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a bottom view illustrating the device the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 is a front view illustrating the device the present invention.
  • FIG. 6 is a perspective view illustrating the device the present invention in use.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Please see FIGS. 1 to 6. The temperature regulating device 100 of the present invention comprises a C-shape portion 1, at least a solar panel 2 and at least a small fan 3.
  • Please see FIGS. 1 to 5. The C-shape portion 1 is integrally formed. The C-shape portion 1 defines a wearing part 11 and two wearing portions 15 which are integrally formed with the wearing part 11. A space is provided in the wearing part 11. At least an indented area 12 is disposed in the outer side of the wearing part 11. Several outlets 13 are disposed on top of the wearing part 11. Several inlets 14 are disposed on the bottom of the wearing part 11 and are connected with the space. There is a gap between the two wearing portions 15. Because the thickness and height of wearing part 11 are bigger than those of the wearing portions 15, the two wearing portions 15 may be slightly deformed and slightly flexible.
  • Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 3. The solar panel 2 is disposed in the indented area 12 and is flush with the surface of the C-shape portion 1 to absorb sunlight.
  • Please refer to FIGS. 3 to 5. The small fan 3 is disposed in the space and is electrically connected with the solar panel 2 to allow the solar panel 2 to drive the small fan 3. The small fan 3 takes in air from the inlets 14 and outputs air from the outlets 13. A temperature regulating unit (not shown in the drawings) is also disposed in the space so that the hot or cold air may be output through the outlets 13.
  • The above is a description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention. How the device 100 is used and its characteristics will be elaborated in the following.
  • When in use, a user may wear the temperature regulating device 100 of the present invention on his neck, as shown in FIG. 6. Because the two wearing portions 15 may be slightly deformed and slightly flexible, users with different size of necks can wear the device 100. In addition, because the thickness and height of the wearing portions 15 are smaller, a user may turn his head without any discomfort. Now, the solar panel 2 may absorb the energy contained in sunlight and convert this energy into electricity to drive the small fan 3 and the device 100. As the temperature of the device 100 rises, the heat may be dissipated through the outlets 13 with the help of the small fan 3 or the temperature regulating unit; then, the heat is output through the outlets 13. Therefore, the device 100 is lightweight and easy to use and is environmentally friendly; in addition, a user does not have to hold it with his hands.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, the device 100 may be worn on a user's neck. The device 100 may have different sizes so that it may be worn on a person's arm, leg, etc.
  • In addition, an electricity storage unit (not shown in the drawings) may be used to store the electricity generated by the solar panel 2. The storage unit is disposed in the space of the C-shape portion 1 and is electrically connected with the solar panel 2. Therefore, the storage unit may allow the device 100 to be used when there is not enough sunlight or light.
  • Also, a control unit (not shown in the drawings) may be disposed in the C-shape portion 1 and is electrically connected with the solar panel 2, the temperature regulating unit and the small fan 3. The control unit acts as a switch and can control the activation and deactivation of the small fan, which sets the temperature of the device 100 and control the small fan 3 and the airflow generated by the small fan 3.
  • In this invention, we do not limit the form of the temperature regulating unit and the small fan 3. The temperature regulating unit may be a thermoelectric cooling module, which has the characteristics including compactness and being able to raise and lower the temperature. Also, the temperature regulating unit may be a unit that may only raise the temperature or only lower the temperature or raise and lower the temperature. The small fan 3 may be a regular fan or other similar device.
  • Many changes and modifications in the above-described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
