Abstract
A thin-type spike intensifying structure is formed by bending a predetermined plate with a punch finishing work. The thin-type spike includes an assembly part and a spike sheet, wherein the assembly part provides for fixing and assembling the spike at a bottom of a sports shoe, and the spike sheet is disposed at a side of the assembly part and manifests an arc-shape design through bending and protrusion. By the arc-shape structure design, a rigid structure of the spike is intensified, and the spike can be manufactured with a thin metal, such that the spike can be firm and tolerable, and a product can be lighter, in order to improve its practicability and advancement.
Description
- a) Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a thin-type spike intensifying structure, and more particularly to a spike structure which is fixedly assembled at a sole of a sports shoe to intensify an entire spike structure by a creative design of an arc-shape spike sheet made by a thinner plate, especially suitable for a baseball shoe or like.
- b) Description of the Prior Art
- Due to improvement of a sport quality, and that athletes should be equipped with a strong explosive force in a sport game, all kinds of sports shoes are designed with respect to requirements and features of sports. In terms of a baseball game, a conventional spike structure at a sole of a baseball shoe is usually a plate of an L-shape cross section, which is bended by a predetermined plate through a punch finishing work. The conventional spike structure is shown in
FIG. 6 andFIG. 7 , roughly divided into a transversal plate a which is fixed on a bottom of the shoe, and an upright plate b which is protruded and results in a grip force with a ground surface. - However, for the conventional spike structure, its upright plate b takes on a straight and bended design. As a result, it will usually cause a bending, or even a fracture, to the upright plate b from a strong impacting force in usage, thereby reducing a lifetime of usage of the spike. Accordingly, in order to provide the spike with a sufficient impact tolerance, an iron plate of a thickness of 1.6 mm will often be used on markets for punching into this kind of spike. Nevertheless, the thicker spike is, on the contrary, provided with a shortcoming of being heavier. In addition, as cost of international steel material increases significantly, and in order for the conventional spike to reach a certain extent of structural intensity, the 1.6 mm thick plate has to be used for manufacturing. Besides, cost of a consumable iron plate is also higher correspondingly. Therefore, that conventional product will be in lack of practicability and business competitiveness, which is still undesirable.
- Accordingly, the present invention is to provide a thin-type spike intensifying structure which is firm and tolerable, uses a smaller amount of steel, and results in a lighter spike.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a thin-type spike intensifying structure with a design of an arc-shape spike sheet bended and protruded with an iron plate of a thickness of 0.8 mm, so as to intensify an entire rigid structure and prolong a lifetime of usage of the spike.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a thin-type spike intensifying structure such that an averaged thickness of the spike can be decreased, allowing entire weight of a product to be reduced significantly, thereby reducing a burden to a user and increasing practicability.
- Still another object of the present invention is to provide a thin-type spike intensifying structure such that cost of using a raw material can be decreased, so as to increase business competitiveness.
- Accordingly, the present invention is made by an integrally formed plate, including an assembly part and a spike sheet, wherein the assembly part is a flat thin plate, on which is provided with an assembly hole for fixing and assembling the spike at a bottom of a sports shoe, and a side of which is bended and protruded with the arc-shape spike sheet. By a creative structure design of the arc-shape spike sheet, the entire rigid structure of the spike can be intensified. On the other hand, at two sides of the spike sheet, close to bended locations, are provided with expanded rims which are extended to the assembly part. In addition, an exterior side of the bended location of the arc-shape spike sheet is provided with a groove, an inner side of which is formed with a ridge having an intensifying effect. Accordingly, the spike is firm and tolerable, and the product is also lighter, thereby increasing the practicability and the advancement.
- To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
-
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 shows a cutaway view of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the present invention which is assembled at a sole. -
FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of another embodiment of a groove design of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 shows a schematic view of another embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 6 shows a perspective view of a conventional spike. -
FIG. 7 shows a cutaway view of a conventional spike. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 3 , the present invention is a thin-type spike 1 intensifying structure, which is constituted by bending a predetermined plate with a punch finishing work, and includes primarily anassembly part 10 and aspike sheet 20. - The
aforementioned assembly part 10 is a flat thin plate on which is provided with anassembly hole 11 for fixing thespike 1 on a sole 31 of a sports shoe 30 (as shown inFIG. 3 ). Thespike sheet 20 is an arc-shape plate design which is bended and protruded from a side of theassembly part 10. By this creative structure design, an entire rigid structure of thespike 1 can be intensified. At two sides of thespike sheet 20, close to bended locations, are provided with expandedrims 21 which are extended to theassembly part 10, so as to increase length of the bended area. In addition, an exterior side at the bended location of the arc-shape spike sheet 20 is punched with agroove 22, an inner side of which is formed with acorresponding ridge 23 having an intensifying effect, thereby allowing the bended location to be more robust and tolerable. - By the aforementioned structure design, the entire rigid structure of the
spike 1 can be intensified, and a product can be made lighter. - Referring to
FIG. 1 andFIG. 3 , by theassembly hole 11 of theassembly part 10, thespike 1 of the present invention can be fixed on the sole 31 of thesports shoe 30 using ascrew member 32 to transfix and screw into a predetermined screw hole on the sole 31, allowing a user to change at any time. On the other hand, in manufacturing the sole 31, theassembly part 10 can be embedded into the sole 31 in advance, and thespike 1 can be robustly assembled on the sole 31 by transfixing a plastic material of the sole 31 into theassembly hole 11. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , agroove 22′, which is disposed at the exterior side of the bended location between theassembly part 10 and thespike sheet 20, can be further extended toward a bottom of thespike sheet 20, to increase the intensifying effect of the corresponding interior ridge. Furthermore, thegroove 22′ can be also designed to be in an arc-shape, a V-shape, or a trapezoidal shape. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , it shows another embodiment of the present invention, wherein two side edges of the arc-shape spike sheet design are extended with slantflat plates 24, allowing aspike sheet 20′ to manifest a V-shape arc design, thereby being provided more with an impact-proof effect. - Accordingly, the thin-type spike intensifying structure of the present invention can intensify the entire rigid structure of the spike, prolong the lifetime of usage of the spike, and can make the plate thinner, so as to reduce the cost of raw material and the entire weight of the product, thereby increasing the practicability and the business competitiveness.
- It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
