Abstract
A goal end board of a soccer playing table has its inner side formed with a recessed arc-shaped wall. Thus, when a football bumps against the inner side of the goal end board and rebounds, the football can be guided by the recessed arc-shaped wall to run inside the soccer playing table, not to bounce out.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a goal end board of a soccer playing table, particularly to one having its inner side formed with a recessed arc-shaped wall extending toward the inner side of a soccer playing table. Thus, when a football bumps against the goal end board and rebounds, the football will be guided by the recessed arc-shaped wall of the goal end board to run inside the soccer playing table, preventing the football from bounding out of the soccer playing table.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Generally, a soccer playing table includes two long side boards and two short goal end boards combined together to form a rectangular recessed soccer field, as shown in
FIG. 1 . The twolong sideboards 10 are respectively provided with a plurality of soccerplayer operating rods 11 and the twogoal end boards 12 have the intermediate portions of their inner sides respectively bored with agoal 13. In playing a soccer game, a football is hit in the direction of an opponent's goal in order to score goals. If a football is hit but fails to enter the goal, the football will bump against thegoal end board 12 and rebounds. However, the goal end board of a conventional soccer playing table has its inner side formed with avertical wall 120, as shown inFIG. 2 ; therefore, when a football bumps against thevertical wall 120 of the goal end board and rebounds, the football is likely to bound out of the soccer playing table, resulting much trouble in looking for and picking up the football on the ground. - The objective of the invention is to offer a goal end board of a soccer playing table, able to guide a football to run toward the inner side of a soccer playing table when the football bumps against the inner wall of the goal end board and rebounds.
- The feature of the invention is the goal end board having its inner side formed with a recessed arc-shaped wall extending toward the inner side of the soccer playing table. Thus, when football bumps against the inner side of the recessed arc-shaped wall and rebounds, the football will be guided by the recessed arc-shaped wall to run inside the soccer playing table, preventing the football from bounding out of the soccer playing table.
- This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional soccer playing table: -
FIG. 2 is a partial upper view of the conventional soccer playing table: -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a soccer playing table in the present invention: -
FIG. 4 is a partial perspective view of the soccer playing table in the present invention: and -
FIG. 5 is a partial front view of the soccer playing table in the present invention. - A preferred embodiment of a soccer playing table in the present invention, as shown in
FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, includes two longvertical side boards 20 and two shortgoal end boards 21 combined together to form a rectangular recessed soccer field. The twolong side boards 20 are respectively provided withoperating rods 22 respectively having a plurality of soccer players disposed thereon, and the twogoal end boards 21 have the intermediate portions of their inner sides respectively bored with agoal 23. - Each
goal end board 21 has its inner side formed with a recessed arc-shaped wall 210. Thus, when a football fails to enter the goal but bumps against the inner side of thegoal end board 21 and rebounds, it will be guided by the recessed arc-shaped wall 210 of thegoal end board 21 to run inside the soccer playing table not to bound out. - The recessed arc-
shaped wall 210 formed at the inner side of thegoal end board 21 of this invention is surely able to prevent a football from bounding out of the soccer playing table after the it bumps against thegoal end board 21 and rebounds. - While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
