A plurality of containers is also formed between the second plate and the first plate, and between the second plate and the first plate by the combination of the two plates.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a package box and particularly to an improved package box for holding a plurality of products of different dimensions.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • It is a common practice for many vendors to design and prepare different sizes of package boxes to hold finished products of different dimensions in a steady manner. The package boxes have to match the product type and size, such as small electronic elements (transformers, inductor, coils, etc.), medium size electronic elements (network adapter cards, temperature regulators, serial communication conversion modules, etc.), or large electronic elements. Refer to FIG. 1 for a conventional package box for electronic elements. It has only one container 1 designed to match the size of an electronic element to be held. Hence package boxes of different sizes of containers have to be designed to hold different sizes of electronic elements. For vendors having dozens of products, they have to prepare dozens of different package boxes. This is not only costly, but also bad for the environment.
  • Hence there is a requirement to hold more electronic elements in one package box to reduce usage of package boxes.
  • One approach is to add a spacer layer in the container to increase the housing space. FIG. 2 shows such an example. A spacer layer 5 is added in a package box 3 to form a partition to hold goods intimately. However, the spacer layer 5 is movably rested on the bottom of the goods held in the box and cannot hold the goods steadily.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the aforesaid problems, the primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved package box that can hold goods steadily even when subject to shaking or vibration.
  • In one aspect, the improved package box according to the invention has a plurality of folding spacer layers formed in an integrated manner to hold goods of different sizes.
  • In another aspect, the improved package goods according to the invention are adaptable to varying product dimensions to overcome the problem of producing one package box for one product.
  • To achieve the foregoing object, the improved package box according to the invention includes a body, which has two bendable folds on two opposing sides, extended to form a first plate and a second plate. The first plate and the body are coupled to form a first interface, and the first plate and the second plate are coupled to form a second interface. On the first and second interfaces, flanges and corresponding indentations are formed, and containers are provided for holding goods of varying dimensions. The flanges and indentations are paired and coupled with each other such, that the first plate and the body, and the second plate and the first plate can be repeatedly opened to access the goods held in the containers as desired or closed securely to hold the goods steadily.
  • The body also includes a third plate extended from a bendable fold of one remaining side of the body to form a third interface with the second plate. The second and third plates have respectively a flange and an indentation on the third interface that match each other and a container for holding goods of varying dimensions. The flange and indentation are paired and coupled with each other such, that the third plate and the second plate can be repeatedly opened to access the goods held in the container as desired or closed securely to hold the goods steadily.
  • In addition, the body further includes a fourth plate extended from a bendable fold of another remaining side of the body to form a fourth interface with the third plate. The third and fourth plates have respectively a flange and an indentation on the fourth interface that match each other to form a container for holding goods of varying dimensions. The flange and indentation are paired and coupled with each other such, that the fourth plate and the third plate are repeatedly opened to access the goods held in the container as desired or closed securely to hold the goods steadily.
  • The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
