Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The invention relates to a structural improvement of portable clothes washer, comprising a container that is installed on a drive device to contain clothes, and a control device installed on the drive device to control the clothes washer. The container has a filter device and a water drain mechanism. Between the filter device and the container is installed a slide mechanism. The control device activates the drive device, which in turn drives the filter device to rotate on the slide mechanism, thereby separating water from the clothes and achieving its dehydrating purpose. In the drive device is optionally installed an ozone generator for sterilization.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Conventional types of portable clothes washer do not have dehydrating function. So after the clothes are washed, they contain a large amount of water. Therefore, the user has to use an additional dehydrator or purchase other dehydrating facilities after washing the clothes.
- For that reason, the consumers have to pay additional costs and suffer from inconvenience, which is a major shortcoming in conventional types of portable clothes washer.
- To seek improvement on the shortcomings in conventional models, the subject inventor has dedicated in the research, based on many years experience in related professions, and has come up with the subject invention of structural improvement of portable clothes washer.
- The primary objective of the invention is to provide a function to separate water from clothes after they are washed.
- The second objective of the invention is to provide a function of sterilization during clothes washing process.
- The following and other features and advantages of the present invention will be more easily understood from the following detailed description and the accompanying drawings, in which,
- FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the invention.
- FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the assembled invention.
- FIG. 3 is a section view of the assembled invention.
- FIG. 4 is an exploded view of another embodiment of the invention.
- FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the other embodiment of the assembled invention.
- FIG. 6 is a section view of the other embodiment of the assembled invention.
- For better understanding of the structural characteristics and anticipated performance of the present invention, please refer to the detailed description and drawings as follows.
- The present invention provides a “structural improvement of portable clothes washer”1, as shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, comprising a
drive device 5 that has acontainer 2 to contain clothes; installed on thedrive device 5 is acontrol device 6 to control theclothes washer 1. Wherein, thedrive device 5 comprises amotor 51, a rotatingwing 52, atransmission device 53, apower supply 54, a connectingcircuit 56 and aturning shaft 57. On the rotatingwing 52 is areceptor hole 521 that can be joined with the turningshaft 57 of thedrive device 5. Thecontrol device 6 comprises acontrol panel 61, acircuit board 62 and aconnecting circuit 63. On thecontrol panel 61 are astart control knob 612 and apower control knob 613. - Installed inside the
container 2 is afilter device 3. Installed between thefilter device 3 and the container is aslide mechanism 4. Thefilter device 3 is a hollow basket having filter holes 31 on its surrounding wall, and arecession 32 on its bottom that can be joined with therotating wing 52. Theslide mechanism 4 comprises acenter shaft 41 and aroller 42. Thecenter shaft 41 penetrates a throughhole 421 on theroller 42 before it is inserted and positioned in a throughhole 431 on areceptor plate 43 that is projected from an inside wall of thecontainer 2. Preferably there are at least two sets of the slide mechanism 4 (four sets are used for description in this embodiment). - On a bottom of the
container 2 is around hole 21 that is tightly joined with therotating wing 52. Surrounding theround hole 21 is a recessedgroove 23. On the bottom of thecontainer 2 is awater drain mechanism 22. Thiswater drain mechanism 22 consists of awater drain valve 221 and awater drain pipe 222. - The invention is assembled by putting the
filter device 3 in thecontainer 2, the turningshaft 57 of thedrive device 5 running through theround hole 21 on the bottom of thecontainer 2 to join with thereceptor hole 521 of therotating wing 52, the rotatingwing 52 is further joined with therecession 32 on the bottom of thefilter device 3, so thecontainer 2, thedrive device 5 and thefilter device 3 are combined as one unit. When assembled as above, an upper margin of thefilter device 3 is resting on theroller 42 of theslide mechanism 4, so thefilter device 3 is firmly installed in thecontainer 2. - To perform its dehumidifying process, dirty laundry is put inside the
filter device 3, anupper cover 11 is covered on thecontainer 2; then, thestart control knob 612 and thepower control knob 613 on thecontrol device 6 are switched on to start the turningshaft 57 of thedrive device 5, driving thefilter device 3 to turn on theroller 42 of theslide mechanism 4. The turning process produces a centrifugal force to separate moisture from the laundry and dry the clothes. The water separated from the clothes will be collected in the recessedgroove 23 on the bottom of thecontainer 2. Then, thewater drain valve 221 of thewater drain mechanism 22 is opened to drain the water out of thewater drain pipe 222. - As shown in FIGS. 4 through 6, in the
drive device 5 of theclothes washer 1 is optionally installed anozone generator 55, and, on thecontrol panel 61 of thecontrol device 6 is optionally installed anozone control knob 611 to control theozone generator 55. Theozone generator 55 is connected by a connectingpipe 551 to anozone output rod 552 that has a plurality of ozone output holes 552 b on its outside wall. On theupper cover 11 is optionally installed areceptor part 110 and a throughhole 111 that are joined with areceptor part 552 a on theozone output rod 552, and on theupper cover 11 is a through hole for air flow. When it is assembled, theozone output rod 552 is pulled through the throughhole 111 on theupper cover 11, so that thereceptor part 552 a is joined in position with thereceptor part 110 of theupper cover 11. - During its washing process, the
ozone control knob 613 on thecontrol device 6 is turned on, so theozone generator 55 produces ozone that is released through the connectingpipe 551 and out of theozone output hole 552 b of theozone output rod 552, to achieve sterilizing effects. - Therefore, the present invention has the following features:
- 1. The user can dehydrate clothes after they are washed without using any dehydrating facility or additional purchase of dehydrating devices.
- 2. The user can perform sterilizing function when washing the clothes because of the
ozone generator 55 installed in the present invention ofportable clothes washer 1. - 3. The recessed
groove 23 on the bottom of thecontainer 2 enables water collecting function to theportable clothes washer 1 after its dehydrating process. - 4. The
water drain mechanism 22 installed on the bottom of thecontainer 2 enables the user to drain water in a convenient way. - In conclusion, the present invention provides a “structural improvement of portable clothes washer” that has satisfied the requirements for a patent right. Therefore this application is duly filed. Your favorable consideration shall be appreciated.
- Although the present invention has been illustrated and described with reference to the preferred embodiment thereof, it should be understood that it is in no way limited to the details of such embodiment but is capable of numerous modifications within the scope of the appended claims.
