Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The invention relates to a structural improvement of portable clothes washer, comprising a container that is installed on a drive device to contain clothes, and a control device installed on the drive device to control the clothes washer. The container has a filter device and a water drain mechanism. Between the filter device and the container is installed a slide mechanism. The control device activates the drive device, which in turn drives the filter device to rotate on the slide mechanism, thereby separating water from the clothes and achieving its dehydrating purpose. In the drive device is optionally installed an ozone generator for sterilization. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art [0003]

  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the invention is to provide a function to separate water from clothes after they are washed. [0007]
  • The second objective of the invention is to provide a function of sterilization during clothes washing process.[0008]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • The following and other features and advantages of the present invention will be more easily understood from the following detailed description and the accompanying drawings, in which, [0009]
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the invention. [0010]
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the assembled invention. [0011]
  • FIG. 3 is a section view of the assembled invention. [0012]
  • FIG. 4 is an exploded view of another embodiment of the invention. [0013]

  • FIG. 6 is a section view of the other embodiment of the assembled invention. [0015]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • For better understanding of the structural characteristics and anticipated performance of the present invention, please refer to the detailed description and drawings as follows. [0016]
  • The present invention provides a “structural improvement of portable clothes washer” [0017] 1, as shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, comprising a drive device 5 that has a container 2 to contain clothes; installed on the drive device 5 is a control device 6 to control the clothes washer 1. Wherein, the drive device 5 comprises a motor 51, a rotating wing 52, a transmission device 53, a power supply 54, a connecting circuit 56 and a turning shaft 57. On the rotating wing 52 is a receptor hole 521 that can be joined with the turning shaft 57 of the drive device 5. The control device 6 comprises a control panel 61, a circuit board 62 and a connecting circuit 63. On the control panel 61 are a start control knob 612 and a power control knob 613.
  • Installed inside the [0018] container 2 is a filter device 3. Installed between the filter device 3 and the container is a slide mechanism 4. The filter device 3 is a hollow basket having filter holes 31 on its surrounding wall, and a recession 32 on its bottom that can be joined with the rotating wing 52. The slide mechanism 4 comprises a center shaft 41 and a roller 42. The center shaft 41 penetrates a through hole 421 on the roller 42 before it is inserted and positioned in a through hole 431 on a receptor plate 43 that is projected from an inside wall of the container 2. Preferably there are at least two sets of the slide mechanism 4 (four sets are used for description in this embodiment).
  • On a bottom of the [0019] container 2 is a round hole 21 that is tightly joined with the rotating wing 52. Surrounding the round hole 21 is a recessed groove 23. On the bottom of the container 2 is a water drain mechanism 22. This water drain mechanism 22 consists of a water drain valve 221 and a water drain pipe 222.
  • The invention is assembled by putting the [0020] filter device 3 in the container 2, the turning shaft 57 of the drive device 5 running through the round hole 21 on the bottom of the container 2 to join with the receptor hole 521 of the rotating wing 52, the rotating wing 52 is further joined with the recession 32 on the bottom of the filter device 3, so the container 2, the drive device 5 and the filter device 3 are combined as one unit. When assembled as above, an upper margin of the filter device 3 is resting on the roller 42 of the slide mechanism 4, so the filter device 3 is firmly installed in the container 2.
  • To perform its dehumidifying process, dirty laundry is put inside the [0021] filter device 3, an upper cover 11 is covered on the container 2; then, the start control knob 612 and the power control knob 613 on the control device 6 are switched on to start the turning shaft 57 of the drive device 5, driving the filter device 3 to turn on the roller 42 of the slide mechanism 4. The turning process produces a centrifugal force to separate moisture from the laundry and dry the clothes. The water separated from the clothes will be collected in the recessed groove 23 on the bottom of the container 2. Then, the water drain valve 221 of the water drain mechanism 22 is opened to drain the water out of the water drain pipe 222.
  • As shown in FIGS. 4 through 6, in the [0022] drive device 5 of the clothes washer 1 is optionally installed an ozone generator 55, and, on the control panel 61 of the control device 6 is optionally installed an ozone control knob 611 to control the ozone generator 55. The ozone generator 55 is connected by a connecting pipe 551 to an ozone output rod 552 that has a plurality of ozone output holes 552 b on its outside wall. On the upper cover 11 is optionally installed a receptor part 110 and a through hole 111 that are joined with a receptor part 552 a on the ozone output rod 552, and on the upper cover 11 is a through hole for air flow. When it is assembled, the ozone output rod 552 is pulled through the through hole 111 on the upper cover 11, so that the receptor part 552 a is joined in position with the receptor part 110 of the upper cover 11.
  • During its washing process, the [0023] ozone control knob 613 on the control device 6 is turned on, so the ozone generator 55 produces ozone that is released through the connecting pipe 551 and out of the ozone output hole 552 b of the ozone output rod 552, to achieve sterilizing effects.
  • Therefore, the present invention has the following features: [0024]
  • 1. The user can dehydrate clothes after they are washed without using any dehydrating facility or additional purchase of dehydrating devices. [0025]
  • 2. The user can perform sterilizing function when washing the clothes because of the [0026] ozone generator 55 installed in the present invention of portable clothes washer 1.
  • 3. The recessed [0027] groove 23 on the bottom of the container 2 enables water collecting function to the portable clothes washer 1 after its dehydrating process.
  • 4. The [0028] water drain mechanism 22 installed on the bottom of the container 2 enables the user to drain water in a convenient way.
  • In conclusion, the present invention provides a “structural improvement of portable clothes washer” that has satisfied the requirements for a patent right. Therefore this application is duly filed. Your favorable consideration shall be appreciated. [0029]
