Abstract

A shoe is constructed to include a tubular shoe upper of crossed woven fabric formed of woven ribbons by cross weaving and adapted for covering the foot of the leg, the tubular shoe upper having a foot hole for the insertion of the foot and a binding extended around the foot hole, an insole fixedly fastened to the tubular shoe upper by stitches, and an outsole directly molded on the insole.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to shoes and, more particularly, to a casual shoe, which has a tubular shoe upper of elastic woven fabric. [0001]
  • During the fabrication of a regular shoe, more particularly a casual shoe, a fabric shoe upper A is cut from a woven fabric AO by stamping subject to a predetermined shape, and then a shoe lining A[0002] 1 is prepared and adhered to the inside wall of the fabric shoe upper A, and then the bottom A2 of the fabric shoe upper A is bent inwards and fixedly adhered or stitched to a sheet of cloth B, and then the sheet of cloth B is adhered to an insole C, and then the peripheral wall of the insole C is bonded or stitched to the fabric shoe upper A, and then an outsole D is injection-molded on or bonded to the bottom sidewall of the insole C. This fabrication procedure consumes much labor and much glue, resulting in high manufacturing cost. Because the lining A1 is adhered to the inside wall of the fabric shoe upper A, the shoes has poor ventilation. It is not comfortable to wear the shoe in a hot day. Furthermore, this structure of shoe is not durable in use. When running or jumping, the connection area between the fabric shoe upper A and thee sheet of cloth B tends to be damaged.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention has been accomplished to provide a shoe, which eliminates the aforesaid drawbacks. It is one object of the present invention to provide a casual shoe, which is easy and inexpensive to manufacture. It is another object of the present invention to provide a casual shoe, which admits air. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a shoe, which is comfortable and durable in use. To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, the shoe comprises a tubular shoe upper of crossed woven fabric formed of woven ribbons by cross weaving and adapted for covering the foot of the leg, the tubular shoe upper having a foot hole for the insertion of the foot and a binding extended around the foot hole, an insole fixedly fastened to the tubular shoe upper by stitches, and an outsole directly molded on the insole. Further, the woven ribbons used for making the tubular shoe upper are preferably made of elastic fiber materials, for example, spandex.[0003]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. from [0009] 3 through 5, woven ribbons 10 are used and woven into a tubular shoe upper 1 (see FIG. 3). The woven ribbons 10 are made of elastic fiber material, for example, spandex. The tubular shoe upper 1 is properly cut to provide a foot hole 11 (see FIG. 3). A binding 111 is then fastened to the tubular shoe upper 1 around the foot hole 11 (see FIG. 4). An insole 2 is prepared subject to a predetermined shape (See FIG. 4). An outsole 3 is directly molded from plastics on the bottom sidewall of the insole 2. The insole 2 is then bonded to the shoe upper 1 (see FIG. 5).
  • According to the present invention, the [0010] woven ribbons 10 are cross woven into the tubular shoe upper 1 at the cross angle of about 30˜60°.
  • According to an alternate form of the present invention, the [0011] outsole 3 is separately molded from plastics, and then adhered or stitched to the insole 2.
  • Because the shoe upper [0012] 1 is directly fastened to the insole 2 without lining, the fabrication of the shoe is easy, and the manufacturing cost of the shoe is low. When finished, the shoe is durable in use. Furthermore, because the shoe upper 1 is a woven fabric of woven ribbons 10, it admits air and, has a comfortable touch.
  • Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims. [0013]

Claims (8)

What the invention claimed is:
1. A shoe comprising a tubular shoe upper of crossed woven fabric formed of woven ribbons by cross weaving and adapted for covering the foot of the leg, said tubular shoe upper having a foot hole for the insertion of the foot, an insole fixedly fastened to said tubular shoe upper at a bottom side, and an outsole fixedly fastened to said insole at a bottom side.
2. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein said woven ribbons are woven into said tubular shoe upper by cross weaving at the cross angle of about 30˜60°.
3. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein said tubular shoe upper further comprising a binding fixedly fastened thereto around said foot hole.
4. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein said insole is bonded to said tubular shoe body.
5. The shoe as claimed in claim 1, wherein said insole is stitched to said tubular shoe body.
6. An upper for shoe comprising a tubular cross-woven fabric body formed of woven ribbons by cross weaving and adapted for covering the foot of the leg, said tubular shoe upper having a foot hole for the insertion of the foot.
7. The upper for shoe as claimed in claim 5, wherein said woven ribbons are woven into said tubular cross-woven fabric body by cross weaving at the cross angle of about 30˜60°.
8. The upper for shoe as claimed in claim 5 further comprising a binding fixedly fastened to said tubular cross-woven fabric body around said foot hole
