Abstract
Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts, including a rack body, several magnets, a connecting member and a check block. The rack body is a box body made of metal material by punching. When punched, the rack body is formed with an internal receptacle. One side of the rack body is welded with the connecting member. The connecting member is a metal sheet. The middle section of the connecting member has an integrally downward extending anti-upturning plate. The upper side of the middle section is formed with several recesses to which the adhesive blocks of the magnets are adhered. An outward inclined stop plate downward extends from lower edge of the connecting member for fitting with the check block. The check block is formed with a middle split. The outer faces of the check block are formed with outer slipproof ribs. The inner faces of the check block defining the split are formed with inner slipproof ribs.
Description
- The present invention is related to a magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts. The rack structure can attractively attach to the face of various kinds of metal articles or working machine for readily placing hand tools or parts in the rack structure. The rack body is provided with a connecting member having a stop plate fitted with a check block. When taking out a tool or a part, the rack structure is not likely to be turned upside down and drop due to external force.
- FIG. 1 shows a conventional tool rack including a
rack body 10 andseveral magnets 20. Therack body 10 is a box body made of metal material by punching. When punched, therack body 10 is formed with an internal receptacle 11. One side of therack body 10 is formed with a higher locating section. The middle of the locating section is punched withseveral recesses 12 to which theadhesive block 21 of themagnet 20 is adhered. - In use, as shown in FIG. 2, the
magnets 20 of therack body 10 attract a metal face B at a certain height. Tools and parts A are placed in the receptacle 11 of therack body 10. - The above structure has some shortcomings as follows:
- 1. The
rack body 10 is attached to the metal face B only by means of themagnets 20 which attract the metal face B. The other portions of therack body 10 are suspended without any support. Therefore, when taking a tool or part A, therack body 10 is often subject to the force of a user's hand and is likely to drop down. - 2. The
rack body 10 is attached to the metal face B only by means of themagnets 20 which attract the metal face B. The other portions of therack body 10 are suspended without any support. Therefore, when subject to an external colliding force, therack body 10 is likely to drop down. - It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts. The anti-upturning plate of the rack body integrally extends from the connecting member and the stop plate inclinedly downward extends from the anti-upturning plate. The ant i-upturning plate and the stop plate together prevent the rack body from being tilted, turned and dropped by external force.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts in which the inclined stop plate is fitted with the check block which is made of slipproof rubber material. In addition, the outer slipproof ribs enhance the slipproof effect so as to reliably attach to the metal face without slippage. Therefore, when the rack body is subject to a downward pressing force or heavier load, the rack body will not drop down.
- It is still a further object of the present invention to provide the above magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts in which the inner slipproof ribs of the check block enable the check block to more firmly connect with the stop plate without slippage and detachment.
- It is still a further object of the present invention to provide the above magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts in which the check block is made of rubber material so that when the rack body is subject to a downward pressing force, the check block serves to protect the metal face from being scraped.
- The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:
- FIG. 1 is a perspective exploded view of a conventional rack structure for hand tools and parts;
- FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the conventional rack structure for hand tools and parts, showing the use thereof;
- FIG. 3 is a perspective exploded view of the rack structure for hand tools and parts of the present invention;
- FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along line C-C of FIG. 4; and
- FIG. 5 shows the use of the present invention.
- Please refer to FIG. 3. The present invention includes a
rack body 10,several magnets 20, a connectingmember 30 and acheck block 40. Therack body 10 is a box body made of metal material by punching. When punched, therack body 10 is formed with an internal receptacle 11. One side of therack body 10 is welded with the connectingmember 30. The connectingmember 30 is a metal sheet having a width equal to that of therack body 10 and has a certain height. The middle section of the connectingmember 30 has an integrally downward extendinganti-upturning plate 32 with a certain length. The upper side of the middle section is formed withseveral recesses 31 to which theadhesive blocks 21 of themagnets 20 are adhered. An outwardinclined stop plate 33 downward extends from lower edge of the connectingmember 30 for fitting with thecheck block 40. Referring to FIG. 4, thecheck block 40 is formed with amiddle split 41. The outer faces of thecheck block 40 are formed with outerslipproof ribs 43. The inner faces of thecheck block 40 defining thesplit 41 are formed with innerslipproof ribs 42. - When assembled and used, as shown in FIG. 5, the
magnets 20 of therack body 10 attract the metal face B to attach therack body 10 thereon. In addition, thestop plate 33 of lower edge of the connectingmember 30 is fitted with thecheck block 40. The outerslipproof ribs 43 serve to retain the rack body and avoid slippage thereof. Accordingly, hand tools or parts A can be placed in the receptacle 11 and easily taken out. - According to the above structure, the present invention has the following advantages:
- 1. The
anti-upturning plate 32 of the rack body integrally extends from the connectingmember 30 and thestop plate 33 inclinedly downward extends from theanti-upturning plate 32. Theanti-upturning plate 32 and thestop plate 33 together prevent the rack body from being tilted, turned and dropped by external force. - 2. The
inclined stop plate 33 is fitted with thecheck block 40 which is made of slipproof rubber material. In addition, the outerslipproof ribs 43 enhance the slipproof effect so as to reliably attach to the metal face B without slippage. The innerslipproof ribs 42 enable thecheck block 40 to more firmly connect with thestop plate 33. Therefore, when the rack body is subject to a downward pressing force, thecheck block 40 serves to retain the rack body on the metal face B. Therefore, the rack body can bear heavier load without slippage or dropping. - 3. When the rack body suffers a downward pressing force, the
inclined stop plate 33 and thecheck block 40 cooperatively to provide a slipproof effect. In addition, thecheck block 40 is made of rubber material so as to protect the metal face B from being scraped. - The above embodiment is only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiment can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
Claims (5)
1. Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts, comprising a rack body, several magnets, a connecting member and a check block, the rack body being welded with a middle section of one side of the connecting member, the magnets by means of adhesive blocks being adhered to several recesses formed on an upper side of the other side of the connecting member, the magnets attracting a metal face to attach the rack body thereon, hand tools and parts being placed in a receptacle of the rack body, said rack structure being characterized in that a middle section of the connecting member has an integrally downward extending anti-upturning plate with a certain length, an outward inclined stop plate downward extending from lower edge of the connecting member for fitting into a split of the check block.
2. Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the inclination of the stop plate does not exceed the total thickness of the magnets adhered to the recesses of the connecting member.
3. Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rack body and the connecting member are both made of metal material and are integrally welded with each other.
4. Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the check block is made of rubber material.
5. Magnet-equipped rack structure for hand tool and parts as claimed in claim 1 or 4, wherein outer faces of the check block are formed with outer slipproof ribs and inner faces of the check block defining the split are formed with inner slipproof ribs for enhancing slipproof effect.
