A dancing doll is controlled by acoustic or optical signals. The doll has sensor for detecting acoustic or optical signal and has an IC controller activated by the sensing result of the sensor and then controlling the body motion and singing of the doll.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the invention [0001]
  • The present invention relates to a dancing doll, especially to a dancing doll controlled by acoustic or optical signal. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art [0003]
  • The conventional doll is generally powered by battery and controlled by built-in machine. The doll is lack of interactive relation with user and provides dull motions. [0004]
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • To overcome the drawback of the conventional doll, the present invention provides a doll controlled by acoustic or optical signals. The doll has sensor for detecting acoustic or optical signal and has a controller activated by the sensing result of the sensor and then controlling the body motion and singing of the doll. Moreover, the light signal can adopt candlelight to provide more flexibility. The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing, in which: [0005]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The present invention is intended to provide a dancing doll controlled by acoustic or optical signals, thus providing more interactive fun. [0010]
  • With reference now to FIG. 1, the first preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a [0011] stage 1 with a power switch 11 and a light emitter 3. A doll 2 is arranged with respect to the light emitter 3. The doll 2 is provided with a light sensor 12 and a sound sensor 13. The light emitter 3 is mainly composed of a light ball 30 housing at least one optical fiber 32. The optical fiber 32 has one end lighted by a light source 31 and another end being a light-emitting end to provide light dot.
  • With reference now to FIG. 2, when the [0012] light emitter 3 is turned on by the power switch 11, one end of the optical fiber 32 forms a light dot propagating toward the light sensor 12. The light sensor 12 receives the light emitted from the optical fiber 32 and generates a trigger signal to an IC controller 4. The IC controller 4 generates a control signal, which is amplified by an amplifier 41 and then sent to a driving motor 21 and a loud speaker 22. The loud speaker 22 is arranged within the stage 1, and the driving motor 21 is used to drive the all fours and body of the doll 2. The structure of the doll 2 is well-known art and is not described in detail here. The light ball 30 of the light emitter 3 generates a light received by the light sensor 12 of the doll 2, and the light sensor 12 of the doll 2 generates a triggering signal to trigger the driving motor 21 and the loud speaker 22. The doll 2 can dance and sing by the driving motor 21 and the loud speaker 22.
  • In another aspect of the present invention, the [0013] light ball 30 of the light emitter 3 is replaced by a candle 5 as shown in FIG. 4. When the candle 5 is burned, the light sensor 12 of the doll 2 also receives light from the candle 5 and generates a triggering signal to the IC controller 4, which generates a control signal amplified by an amplifier 41 and then sent to the driving motor 21 and the loud speaker 22.
  • In still another aspect of the present invention, the [0014] doll 2 has a sound sensor 13, which detects the sound wave generated by handclap of user and generates a triggering signal to the IC controller 4. The IC controller 4 generates a control signal to the driving motor 21 and the loud speaker 22, thus enabling the doll 2 to dance and sing. Moreover, the IC controller 4 also turns on the light emitter 3 simultaneously. Therefore, the motion of the doll 2 is synchronous with light and sound effect.
  • It should be noted that the detectable range of the [0015] sound sensor 13 is within the frequency range of clap sound or singing sound of the user, thus preventing wrong operation. Moreover, the detectable range of the light sensor 12 of the doll 2 is also within the frequency range of candle 5 or the light ball 30, thus preventing wrong operation.
  • Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiment thereof, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details thereof. Various substitutions and modifications have suggested in the foregoing description, and other will occur to those of ordinary skill in the art. Therefore, all such substitutions and modifications are intended to be embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. [0016]

Claims (3)

1. A dancing doll controlled by acoustic or optical signal, comprising
a stage having a light emitter;
a dancing doll arranged corresponding to the light emitter and having a driving motor to drive the all fours and body of the dancing to perform dancing motion;
a light sensor and a sound sensor arranged within the dancing doll;
an IC controller within the doll and a loud speaker within the doll; the light sensor sensing an optical signal or the sound sensor receiving an acoustic signal to trigger the IC controller; the IC controller then controlling the driving motor and the loud speaker of the doll to perform dance and sing operation.
2. The dancing doll controlled by acoustic or optical signal as in claim 1, wherein the light emitter is a light ball containing at least one optical fiber; the optical fiber is lighted by a light source and the light source is controlled by a power switch.
3. The dancing doll controlled by acoustic or optical signal as in claim 1, wherein the light emitter is a candle.
