Any necessary number or" intermediate tile 23 can be provided depending upon the height of the wall tile and the length of the intermediate corner tile elements.
The corner tile are assembled by sliding them over the retaining flanges on the mounting strip. v
Cap corner tile 24 is exactly the same as the intermediate tile 23 with the exception that the sides are curved in indicated at 36 and 3'? so that they come together at right angles, their flanges 2'7 and 28 being joined so as to form a smooth surface to be'abutted by the side flanges on the cap wall tile.
Now with respect to the internal corners such as shown in 2 and 4 and 7 to 9,.the curve in the corner tile must nowbe inward as illustrated at 38 on Fig. 4. The mounting strip 39 fits tightly in the corner between the wall boards 11 and is nailed thereto in a suitable manner.

vided into sections but preferably it is made in one piece for the height of the tile wall. With this corner piece, however, the edges 40 and 41 instead of being bent at right angles are merely raised to provide a slot between them and the The corner tile are then pro vided with the shoulders at 42 and 43 for abutting the side edges of the adjacent wall tile and,

The bottom tile 46, as shown most clearly by Figs. 2, 4, and 8, has the side edges 42. and 43 running right down to the tipoi the outwardly bent portion 47 but the flanges 44 and 45 terminate at the top of the outwardly bent portion 47 as otherwise they could not slide behind the strip for interlocking purposes.
The intermediate tile and the top portion of the bottom tile 46 are preferably flanged in the same manner at the ends as are the external corner tile as indicated at 33 leaving merely enough space between the securing flanges 44 and 45 on the end flange for the edges 40 and 41.
The cap corner tile 'foran internal corner is shown in perspective at 48' in Fig. '7, and the external appearance is illustrated more clearly in Fig. 2. The side flanges .44 and 45 are again terminated short ofthe cap portions 49, but
shoulders 42' and 43 continue right up to the cap 49 which has the downturned flange 50 abutting against the wall proper.
Thus it will be seen that these tile can be applied in substantially the same manner as a smooth unbroken joint with suitable bearing surfaces provided to abut against the flanges of the adjacent wall tile and with no sharp edges left exposed to become chipped or broken. 7
From the above description, it is believed that the construction and advantages of this device will be clear to those skilled in this art.
Having thus described one form of my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
1. A corner structure for mounting sheet metal, wall tile at the meeting of two walls comprising a securing strip anchored to both the walls adjacent the corner thereby tying the walls together and having side flanges standing out from said walls and directed angularly away from each other, and corner tile members having side flanges directed angularly toward each other slidably receiving the side flanges of said strip therebetween said tile members having end flanges at their abutting ends which end flanges terminate short of the side flanges thereon providing passage for the side flanges of the securing member between the end flanges and side flangeof a tile member.
2. A corner structure for mounting sheet metal wall tile at the meeting of two walls comprising a securing strip anchored to both the walls adjacent the corner thereby tying the walls together and having side flanges standing out from said walls and directed angularly away from each other, and corner tile members having side flanges directed angularly toward each.
