As shown, the sheave segment is provided with two downwardly extending projections 28 and 29, see Fig. 4, spaced apart a .sufiicient distance to'form a slot to receive one of the links '31 of the brake tension member 27. The projections 28 and 29 are provided above their lower ends with a groove forming a recess .32 of suflicient dimension to receive the link 33 as clearly shown in Figs. 4 and 5 of the drawing.
