STANLEY, of New Hartford, in the county oi' Litchfield and `State ofConnecticut, have inventedc ertain new and useful Improvements pertaining to Spinning-Quills,-of'fwhich the following is a speciiication, reference being had tothe accompanying drawings, yvhere- Figure 1 is an exterior view of a; spinningquill. Figs. 2 and 3 are views in central longitudinal section, showing interior shells or The letter a denotes the exterior tube or shell of a spinning-quill, and the letter d the bushing or inner shell.
