Specific purposes of the invention are to provide a construction which can be readily and securely mounted in convenient relation P to bath tub, lavatory, or toilet seat; to provide such construction adapted to per- "manently mounted in connection with hot and cold water pipes; to provide such con struction. in compactform adapted tobe set into the wall of, a bath room, exposing only an unobtrusive panel, and also adapted when mounted exteriorly to be decorative ratber than offensively suggestive of its purpose. In Figure 7 the casing, A, is shown mounted as above described by means ofthe brackets, 40, 40, at the side of the lavatory adjacent the toilet seat.

In Figure 8 the casing, A, is shown mounted by means of the bar, 37, as above described, at the side of the lavatory adjacent the toilet seat; and in Figure 11 said casing is shown mounted at the water-pipe-connected end of the bath tub adjacent to which the toilet seat is located, the mounting of the casing on the bath tub being effected by either or both of the means above described.

As illustrated in Figure 11 both means are used, viz, the brackets, 40, 40, attached to the depending'ma-rginal flange or lip, 38, at the end of the bath tub, and also by the bar, 37, attached in the manner more clearly seen in Figure 8 to one of the bath tubwater supply pipes, 39, and by bolts, 49, to the lugs, 60, 60, of the casing or to the marginal flange, 22, of the casing.

For the purpose of impregnating the tempered water with medicinal substance, there is provided mounted upon the inner side of the'casing closure lid, 21, a container, M, for medicinal substance. This container is preferably in bellows form, consisting of a relatively stifi' base, M andhead, M shown as of hard rubber connected by a collapsible bellows member, M The container is arranged to be interposed in the hose connection leading from the discharge, 25, to the douche nozzle, 80, and for that purpose it is furnished at opposite sides with inlet and discharge nipples, 65, and 66, with suitable coupling, 67 and 68, the coupling, 6?, being connected by a short piece of hose, 69, with the swivel couplings, 29, at the discharge, 25, and the coupling, 68, being connected with the hose leading to the douche nozzle. The nipple, 65, is mounted fixedly in the head plate, M and the nipple, 66, in the form of an elbow, is mounted fixedly in the peripheral flange m of the base member, M the elbow being upturned for receiving the swivel coupling, 68. At one end of the casing, A, there is mounted a container,'N, for toilet paper, thiscontainer being shown'as adapted to receive a customary form of toilet paper roll, but it may be in any'suitable form for receiving toilet paper in'other form. This container, N, is shown bolted to the side of the casing, A, but obviously may have. its main member cast integrally with the casing, A.

I claim: I

A sanitary douche apparatus comprising in combination with a casing open at one side and adapted to be mounted in fixed position with said open side-exposed, a pipe fitting construction mounted in the casing consisting of pipe inleads for hot and cold water making junction with each other for common discharge with independent valves control ling the inleadsv respectively, and a third valve controlling the common discharge; said pipe fitting construction being mounted .on the inner wall of the casing with the inleads extending outthrough said wall for connection respectivelyoutside the casing with hot and cold water supply pipes; the discharge beingarranged for hose connection leading" to a douche nozzle, and the casing being interiorly dimensioned for storing a substantial length of hose therein about said unitary pipe fitting structure, and having a displaceable closure for the open side, the closure of the casing having mounted on its inner side a liquid-proof container for medicinal substance, said container having at opposite sides nipples adapting it to be interposed in the discharge hose for impregnating the water delivered to the douche, said container consisting of relatively stifi' head and base plates, and acollapsible bellows member connecting said stiffplates, the nipples for connection with the inleadi-ng and douche-connecting hose being mounted in the head and base plates respectively. v I
