In. Fig. 3 are shown four pairs of disk gangs arranged in two groups for simultaneously forming. four drills or rows, each group being provided with a center frame 14 flexibly connected at the front to a draft attachment 40 and at the rear to a coupling bar 4:1. The disk gangs '1, 1a are rigidly connected to the center frame 2 and spaced from each other for simultaneously levelling two previously formed drills and tearing out the roots of the previous crop. The disk gangs of the follow the disk gang 1 and the disk for covering the roots torn out by the gangs l, 1a and simultaneously forming two new drills, the height of which is determined by the height to which the inner bearings? are raised, the raising of the bearings being effected by the adjustment of the flexible suspenders 26a through the forked members 260 and the lengthwise adjustment of the clips 26?) on the arms 26. For instanceif the flex-- 'ible suspenders are so adjusted through the forked members 260 that the'axles ofthe gangs are parallel with the beam, the disks only operate to cut the soil. If on the other hand the suspenders are adjusted to raise the inner bearings to the level of thearms 2.6 the disks 5 bank up the soil at each side of the drill to its maximum height.
Having thus fully described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is 1. A disk harrow comprising a center,
frame; a beam having a journal at'each end;
gang relatively to the land and maintaining o in its inclined position.
2. A disk harrow as claimed in claim 1 having an arm extending from the beam above each disk gang to which the flexible suspender is adj ustably connected for inclining the disk gang'relatively to the land.
3. In a disk harrow a center frame arranged lengthwise ofthe harrow; a beam having a journal at 'eachend, two disk gangs located one at each side of the center frame, 7 and provided with an axle having a bearing adjacent to its outer end in which one of the journals is entered-for pivotally cone necting the disk gang to the beam and a bearing at itsinner end beyond the disks, a lever, a toothed segment, and rods connecting the lever with the bearings at the inner ends of the axles for adjusting the cutting anglesof the disk gangs, and flexible suspenders connected with the bearings at the 'innerends of the axles for vertically inclining each disk gang relatively to the land and maintaining it in its inclined position. I

A disk harrow comprising a center frame, a plurality of disk gangs arranged in groups and connected with the frame, means for adjusting the cutting angles of each group of disk gangs, and means-for vertically inclining each disk gang relatively to the land and maintaining it in an inclined position,

5. A disk harroW comprising a center frame, a plurality of disk gangs arranged in groups and connected With the frame, means for adjusting the cutting angles of each group of disk gangs, and means for vertically inclining each disk gang relatively to the land and maintaining it in an inclined position,
