The object of this invention is to provide a screen for the vertical slidable window of a motor car and particular means for connecting the wire netting with the upper edge I of the glass plate.
A further object is to provide a screen automatically adjustable to any position in which the window may be placed, and a device which may be promptly attached or detached with reference to the glass and when attached will maintain firm connection therewith without danger of fracture of the edge of the window or of becoming accidentally displaced therefrom.
A further object is to prevent injury to the glass in the event of pressure on the attachmg means resulting from moderate impact due to a slight blow from any cause.
With the foregoing and other objects in 9 view, the invention consists in the novel construction and arrangement of elements disclosed, it being understood that modifications maylbe made within the scope of the claims wit out departing from the spirit of the invention. I
