Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Let-ters'Patent, is:

A device for absorbing train shocks from. railway tracks comprising a tie rod means carried by said tie rod for engaging the ball or" a rail, means also carried by said tie rod for engaging the bottom oi the rail base, means for engaging the top and edge of the rail base, means for permitting of verticaladjustment of the means carried by the tie rod, and means for maintaining said rail base engaging means and said ball engaging means in engagement with one another and with said railvbase and rail ball.
