IMPROVEMENT IN BAG-HOLDERS.
Specication forming part of Letters Patent No. 178,903, dated .I une 20, 1876; application filed December 4, 1875.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LEALAND H. BRISTOL,
of Lawrenceville, St. Lawrence county, New
York, have invented a new and Improved Bag-Holder, ofwhich the following is a speci-l iication:
The invention consists in combining a slidespout with a bench-strap and screw, and also with a wedge-shaped rest, as hereinafter described.
Figure l is a side elevation of my improved bag-holder. Fig. 2 is a front elevation.

A is the inclined bench hinged at the lower end to the bagstand B, and near the upper ends hinged to the legs C, to Which/"it is also connected by the strap D, so that l.the height `-nlay be varied by taking up or letting out the strap. E is the spout at the upper end, under and over which the mouth of the bag is adjusted, and having hooks F,onwhich it is fastened, to hold the bag so that the grain shoveled into it will flow into the bag. This spout is capable of shifting up and down the bench to elevate the mouth of the bag, and.
under the lower end of thespout is a Wedgeshaped rest, K, to graduate the bag from the spout vdown to the bench.
