In accordance with my'invention, I provide an electromagnetic}.pickqip tool or imple-. l ment, which may e conveniently manipu-' lated for removing r'on elements from inac- CGSSIblG places.
The tool preferably embodies an electro-v magnet constitutingiia unit, and so wound as to besmall ands'trong in its electromagnetic force. The ele otromagnet is enclosed in preferably non-magnetic case to be protected thereby fro v oil, grease, water, or mild chemicals, whijc might tend to destroy the insulation of the llwinding. The handle of the device is preferably in the form-of a tube, having a relatively small diameter, whereby the tube may be bent at different angles to enable theitool to be inserted into inaccessible places. 'The tube carries the case andiis adapted to receivea lead wire connected withone end {of the electromagnetic winding, the other'end of the winding being connected with the case; The forward end of the case is formed open and this permits of the insertion of the lead wire, and the electromagnet into theftub and case, respectively in one operation. The end of the case is closed by ahead, preferably forming a part of the core of the "electromagnet.
