This invention relates to machines for; creasing cardboard and'similar stock in the preparation of blanks which are subse-, quently folded to make boxes. e
.Machines of this general type usually comprise arframe in which a-baris rotatably mounted carrying a plurality of creasing and scoring units. Each of the creasing units includes a creasing wheel adaptedto cooperate with a'creasing rollandeachof the scoring units includes a'sharp cutter cooperating with a hardened ring to separate the blanks. The bar carrying the creasing and scoring units is provided with a reversing lever so that it may be turned from its normal operativeposition'to an inverted position in order to adjust. theposition of the creasing andscoring units or to Stock, such as sheet cardand the cooperating creasing rolls to crease the same andis separated into blanks at. the same' time by the scoring units.

It is anobject of the present inventionto overcome this difficulty and provide means for locking'the bar carrying the creasing units" so that perfect creasing can be obtained during long periods of use of the machine. In accordance with the invention the usual locking pin described may be employed for locating the bar carrying the creasing units or carried'out in various ways.
