A stop-cylinder printing machine with sheet delivery at the front, in which the impression cylinder grippers are, during the stop of the impression cylinder, in proximity to the bed, comprising in combination with the laying on table and with the grippers on the impression cylinder, oscillatable preliminary grippers for conveying duringthe stopping of the impression cylinder the sheet to be printed from the laying on table'to the impression cylinder-grippers, toothed segments one on each-oscillatably preliminary gripper, a shaft rotatably journaled at the outer side of said impression cylinder, and toothed segments on said shaft meshing with said toothed segments on said oscillatable preliminary grippers.
