The excess liuid on the upper side is removed by the drum 17 and in passing under the heating element the rest of the moisture on the film is dried. Any
moisture that escapes Ythis Vtreatment must/j necessarily be on the under side ofi-the lilm and is removed in passing over the drum 11. The film then passes through the dry pads on channels 9 and l5 and is polished.
VFrom the foregoing description and construction of applicants device'it can be seen that it is capable of cheap production, that'itv does not require skill for its operation andY that it does not require any more effort than an ordinary rewinding operation. It is to be understoodthat the above described device is 'merely the preferred embodimentofappli cants invention in practice and is susceptible to suoli various `changes and modiiications Within the scope of applicantsA claims as he may deem advisable to practice.
