This invention has relation to machines which are operated by a treadle or a belt, and designed for cutting pegs out of boots and shoes; and the nature of my invention consists in serrated rotary cutters, having their hearings in the upper end of a standard, and
actuated by a belt passed around pulleys, in combination with a hinged cover or case, which will allow free access to the said belt when desired, as will be understood from the followingdescription In the annexed drawings, A designates a substantial table, from the standards of which rise anvils used in breaking down nails in the soles of the shoes.
