In said drawing, the numeral, 5, indicates a seeding machine hopper of any ordinary construction, to the under side of which the dispensing devices, 6, are secured by screws, 7, or otherwise, in a well known manner. The dispensing device 6 is of common constructlon comprising housing members, 8, 9, having a feed-wheel, 10, therein comprising a web 11,

It will'be observed that each end of said defleetor 20 is provided with alatch 30 so that the damper at either side of the dispensing device may be secured, it being necessary according to the character of the'seed to be sown to close the larger or smaller passage as required. Itwill thus be seen that the damper is interchangeable and may be readily applied and secured to either side of the dispensing device, and if for any reason it may be desired to close both passages in some of'the devices dampers of the characterdisclosed, being. of uniform'sizc and design, can be employed interchangeably.
