The single valve 78 controls the spray of hot water through alll of the sprays 81, 82, 85 f and 86, and hot water may be supplied to the spray receptacle D independent of hot water supply to the trough B.
From the foregoing description of this invention it is apparent that a novel type of dish washing apparatus has been provided 1n which the trough; spray cabinet; and drying table have been so relatively positloned as to enable the continuous operation of washingv dishes to take place, with facility and with eiciency. The initial cleansing operati'on takes place in the tro 1gh B, and t e dishesare preferably handledin wire baskets G. As they ,are lifted from the trough B theyare put into the spray cabinet compartment 1.1.0l thru theswinging doors 55),
and they' readily'enter the same and are placed between' the upper and lower' sets of sprays so that thedishes thereof arranged therein are individually sprayed and cleansed.'v The successive baskets are pushed intp one end'of the spray receptacle or lcabii net, D, 1 arid succeeding baskets push thesame along the rack or tray55, which -acts as a track, and the baskets of dishes are iihally' 'forced th l the exit doors 52, onto the drain and drying portionA '30 oftheplatform 27. The drain of all water during Ithe entire pro-- cedure is into the troughcompartment 15; the water from the spray cabinet draining the water' from the l49, and onto the -tion 30 along the si drain table C draining from the drying pore portions 31y and B2 which act as troughs therefor, and the water partment 15, las is readily obvious. The operation is continuousand during the washing precedure the dishes are thoroughly cleansed, sprayed, and dryed. Due to the fact that the overflow extension 19 is pro, vided, the grease'will float linto the same,
and the lower body of water remains comparatively clean to effect the initial cleansing operation in the trough B. Thus the drain keeps the water refreshed. The spray ,chamber is protected by reason of the swinging doors, and if desired single baskets of dishes may be placed, as illustrated in trough, drain means for the trough, a spray cabinet, having a bottom, a tray for the spray cabinet disposed in a plane substantially above the said bottom and the trough, said spray cabinet having anentrance opening adjacent the trough and facing the same and an exit opening at its opposite end aligning with the entrance opening and likewise disposed above said tray, neans for spraying water in said cabinet upon articles passing therethrough, a table outwardly of theexit opening of the'spray cabinet for re ceiving ,dishes as they exit from said exit opening, said table and spray cabinet bottom inclining towards and each directly extending to the trough for drain of water thereinto 2.
