The a1angement is such that the adjacent ends of the tubular portions 15 and 1G of the bracket are spaced and the outer end of the liquid discharge nozzle 13 rests adjacent to its extremity on the upper end of the adjacent wall of the air nozzle 6. Said adjacent wall of the air nozzle 6 is one of the longer or side walls ot the rectangular nozzle and the liquid discharge nozzle 13 terminates slightly inward ot the inner face of said adjacent side wall ot the air nozzle 6 so that a flat stream or blast ot air may be discharged from the air nozzle G across the end of the liquid discharge nozzle 13 when the device is used in a manner which will be hereinafter described. t
It is to be observed at this point that the air nozzle G, the brackets 14-15-16 and the portions 10, 11 and 13 of the liquid delivery tube may serve as a handle which can be readily grasped and conveniently gripped in the hand so that the device can be carried readily from place to place when it is not in use.
The means for forcing air under pressure through the air tube across the open discharge end of the liquid delivery tube may include an air displacing member which comprises a cylindrical body 17 and a lower head section or end wall`18. The cylindrical body 17 tits closely, although slidably, on the body 1 ot the liquid container. The head 18 ot the air displacing member is formed with an air intake opening 19 of relatively great area-centrally thereof. This air intake opening 19 is covered by a swingable inwardly opening flap valve 20.
From the foregoing description of the various parts of the device, the operation thereof may be readily understood. The friction between the cylindrical portion 17 of the air displacing member and the cylindrical portion 1 of the container is such as to assure the retention of the air displacing member in place on the container when the device is carried by hand in the manner hereinbefore mentioned. Then desired. the device may be held in the hands of the user with the container body disposed horizontally or at any desirable inclination to the horizontal. This can be conveniently accomplished by grasping the portion of the liquid delivery tube that protrudcs from the container in one hand while the air displacing member is grasped in the other hand. The air displacing member then is moved rearwardly on the (,fontainer body from the position shown in Figure 2. During this rearward moven'ient of the air disf placing member. air may pass through the opening 10 into the space between the head 18 oi the air displacing member and the end wall 3 of the container. lVhen the air displacing member is slid forwardly on the container body. the valve Q0 will be. closed and air will be forced from the space between the head 18 ot the air displacing member and the end wall 3 ot the container through the air tube and will pass at high velocity in a flat stream across the open end ot the liquid discharge nozzle 13. it being understood that the device is held so that the open end of the discharge nozzle 13 will be turned upward. The suction resulting from the passage of the air blast across the. open end of the liquid discharge nozzle will cause liquid to be drawn from the container and to mingle in finely divided particles with the air blast whereby the liquid will be atomized and discharged in a fine spray. Since the inner end ot the liquid delivery tube terminates close to the end wall 3 of the container and also close to the inner wall oi the body of the container. it will be apparent that practically all the contents of the container can be discharged therefrom in atomized form as a result. of the, operation of the air displacing member and the passage ot the hereinbetore mentioned air blast across the open end of the liquid discharge nozzle 13.
Obviously. the invention is susceptible of embodiment in forms other than that which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings and described herein and we therefore, consider as our own all such modifications and adaptations of the form ot the device herein described as fairly iall within the scope of the appended claims.

A combined liquid container and sprayer comprising a container. a blow tube extending through said container bevond one end oi the container, a liquid delivery tube protruding 'from the space within said container beyond said one end oi the container in substantially spaced relation to said blow tube. the protruding portion of said liquid delivery tube being bent to terminate at the adjacent end of said blow tui-ie. whereby an air blast maybe delivered by said blow tube across the onen outer end of the liquid delivery tube to draw liquid from the container through said liquid delivery tube and to atomize the liquid. and abracket.
connecting the adjacent end portions of said A Y body and end walls, an air tube connected at one end with a central opening in the end wall of said container and extending through said container body and through an opening in the opposite end Wall of the container, the connections of said air tubewith the Walls of said openings and the end walls of they container being fluid tight, a. liquid delivery tube protruding from said container, at the same end of the container as the protruding portion of the air tube and in substantially spaced relation to the latter, said protruding portion of the liquid delivery tube being bent to terminate at its extremity in proximity to the adjacent end of the air tube so that a blast of air from the air tube will pass crossthe open end of the liquid delivery tube, and a bracket connecting the adjacent end portions of said tubes, said bracket coniprising a plate-like body portion having tubular portions extending along adjacent edges'thereof and respectively receiving end portions of said tubes, said tubular portion of the bracket being secured to the portions of the air tube` and the liquid delivery tube which extend through the tubular portion of the bracket and said bracket and theadjacent portions of said air tube and said liquid delivery tube constituting a handle.
