What we seek to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. In a machine of the kind described, the combination with a closed chamber and a plurality of revolving drums having projections thereon, of a conveyor disposed at the bottom of said chamber and gravity means for feeding the stock to said drums under uniform pressure, said drums and conveyor operating to feed the stock from the bottom of the chamber in a compact layer.
2. Ina machine of the kind described,- the combination with a closed chamber, a plurality of picker drums in said chamber, and a pan disposed adjacent each drum of a conveyor in the bottom of said chamber.
3. In a machine of the kind described, the combination with a closed chamber, a plurality of picker drums in said chamber, and a pan disposed adjacent each drum of a conveyor, of an endless belt conveyor in the bottom of said chamber.
4. In a machine of the-kind described, the

In' a machine of the type described, the combination with a chamber for receiving the stock, a plurality of perforated picker drums rotatably mounted in said chamber, a pan adjacent each drum, means in each drum for creating an air pressure therein, means in each drum for confining the escape of air to a limited area in the direction of the ans and means for operating said drum an pressure creating means of means in said chamber for feeding the finished roduct therefrom.
