v. This invention relates to an amusement device, particularly a toy pool or pocket billiard table.

The purpose of the invention is to providey a simple `and inexpensive structure which will serve the purpose quite as satisfactorily as the more expensive devices of this general type which have been on the market for a long time. I

In accordance with my invention, the playing surface, instead of being an actual table top, is provided by simply a tablet which is adapted to beV placed on any convenient plane surface when the game is to be played.` This tablet is rimmed by a frame which provides the cushions and, together with the tablet, Vthe pockets, the frame and tablet being preferably attached to each other by simple mechanical means.

The plane surface of the device is provided by means of a tablet Ll, of cardboard or wood or other similar material, with a covering 5 of felt laid thereon and Yextending over the peripheral edges and turned inwardly on the'bottom, as shown in FiguresQ and 3, where it is conveniently pasted or glued to the tablet.

Accordingly pockets 8 and side pockets 9 are provided by looping the strip metal as indicated, true pockets being formed by the co-operation of the tablet 4, the thickness of which gives depth to the pocket.
