This invention relates to toys,and more 'iartic'ularly to a e bination toy which may be used as a doll a ing, doll chair, go-cart, doll cradle, and other similar toys,and an objectot the invention is to provide a toy o'l? this type which may be easily and quickly converted at the will o'l. a child into any one ot a number oi? various-iflitferent articles, permitting the childto change thctoy at will, thereby providing variety of toys, such as all chiidren like, in a single structure.

Other objects oi the invention willlapp'ear in the following detail description, and in the accompanying drawings wherein Figure 1, is a side elevation of the ISSGIII- bled convertible swing, showing it in use as a swing.

Referring more particularly to the drawings, the improved toy comprises a base 1 which is rectangular in shape and includes the

side rails

2 and 3, which have the cross boards l attached thereto to form the platform of the base structure. Wheels 5 are rotatably carried by the

side rails

2 and 3, and project upwardly beyond the upper edges of the side rail when the toy is used as a swing. A frame 6 is pivotally connected as shown at 7 at one end of the base 1 and it has a second frame 8 pivotally connected to its tree end. The frame 8 has the lower ends of its side bars 9 beveled and fitted in suitable sockets 10 carried by the end of the platjt'ornrl opposite to the end to which the frame 6 is pivoted thereby 1925. 21 and 22 are held in slight spaced relation when the device is used as a swing seat, and When placed on the supporting structure, the blocks 13 engagein this space between the facing sides of the sections, while the hinge barrels 35 of the hinges engage the pivot or supporting bolts 14:. If it is so desired, a suitable catchstrnctnre may be provided for permitting locking of the swing section in place, and a suitable catch structure may also be provided for locking the side members 9 of the frame 8 in the sockets l0.

8 and 6 and the swing supporting structure are at this time coilapsed into close proximity and held therein in any suitable manner to permit the device to be used as a doll carriage or a go-cart.

It is, of course, to be understood, that the invention may be constructed in various other manners and the parts associated in diilerent relations, and therefore, I do not desire to be limited in any manner, except as set forth in the claims hereunto appended.

What I claim is:

1. In a swing, a collapsible frame, swing stiles pivotally supported thereby, a swing seat structure detaehably carried by said stiles, said seat structure comprising hingedly connected sections engaging at their hinged portions against said stiles, and sup porting bolts carried by said stiles and engaging beneath the hinges of the hinged sections of said seat structure.

2. In a swing, a collapsible frame, swing stiles pivotally supported thereby, a swing seat structure detachably carried by said stiles, said seat structure comprising hingedly connected sections engaging at their hinged portions against said stiles, supporting bolts carried by said stiles and engaging beneath the hinges of the hinged sections of said stiles and engaging beneath the hinges of the hinged sections of said seat structure, blocks carried by said stiles, and flanges on said blocks for engaging said seat structure and preventing lateral movement thereof.

3. In a swing, a platform, a frame hingcdly connected to the platform, a second frame hingedly connected to said. first named frame, sockets carried by the platform for receiving the lower end of Said second frame, swing stiles pivotally carried by said frames at their point of pivotal connection, and a seat structure detachably carried by said stiles.
