The ink distributing plate which in'Fig. 6 is shown 7 with its two end sections separated may have its meeting edges toothed or otherwise formed asat 7 9 so as to dovetail or interfit when these plate sections are moved together. This is of advantage in one color printing as thereby I eliminate the formation of any ink line which would otherwise H develop on the rollers vtothe detriment of an evendistribution of ink thereupon.
f I would have it noted that the attachments of this inventionmay be readily applied to variouskinds of standard printing'presses, of which one suggestive type is illustrated in the drawing. By employing an inkingplate "having a plurality of adjustable pinions, and
. associating therewith a pair of adjustable inking fountains, I am able to provide for an unmixed transference of two inking colors to suitable form rollers, the result being that the. form is inked with the two colors at only the desired places.

a common rod whereon the fountains are ad jus'tably mounted, a driving connection between the rod and the severalpinions, 'a form roller and a brayer adapted forangular travel back and forth between the form and inking plate, means for causing such movement of the form roller and brayer, and a connection from said means tothe driving connection between the pinions and rod whereby an intermittent rotation is imparted thereto, substantially as described.
