COMBUSTION APPARATUS.

The invention relates to improvements in air super-heating apparatus for use in connection with fuel burning devices of divers types such as furnaces, boilers, stoves and other heat producing units and has particular reference to an air super-heating means mounted in the feed door of such heat producing structures adapted to project the I a1r induction through various media for preheatingthe' cool drafts to direct and deflect same over the entire area of the combustion chamber'of the fire-box of such unit to produce live combustible gases for increasing the heat production of the fuel utilized and and to project such pre-heated air gases di- 'rectly into the combustion chamber of the heating unit in the form of highly charged gaseous molecules to increase the heat volume of the fuel, to thusly increase the distributive functioning of the heating-unit,
to decrease the quantity of fuel consumption and to greatly enhance the eiiiciency of the generating source.
Another and further object of the invention is in the providing of a preheating and gas forming structure constructed along pro-defined lines, 1n such form and deslgn as to increase the a1r reception and pre-heatmg chamber, having mounted therein an auxil iary super-heating means, and surface heating area in form of heat absorbing means, and a plurality of apertures so disposed with relation to the emitting end of the unit as to provide means for projecting the semigases andspre-heated air to be deflected in combustion chamber of the heater and within the prescribed zone thereinto assist and create proper combustion, in connection with any of the generally known typesand forms of heating structures.
