This invention has reference to means for the wrapping up of material with a flexible wrapper, die, envelope or the like, and it refers in particular to` means of the kind referred to adapted for the covering. of sen sitive, or soft and irregularly sha ed material, such as different kinds of)` candies, sweets, fudge, so-called pralines, and equivalent articles, and it is lintended to gen-` 1'0 erally improve devices ofthe kind referred` to, to facilitate and accelerate the wrapping process, and to insure the turning out of a.

In the form of construction according to Figures 1 to 3 two, pairs of lrollers 1 and 2 are mounted respectively on shafts, 5 and 12 and below each other'and in such a manner that the directions of the shafts 5 and 12 will intersect. The arms 8 carrying the upper roll-V ers 1 are rockably mounted on the studs or bolts 3, and the arms 9 carrying the .lowerso rollers 2 are rockably secured on the studs or bolts 4. In the modified form of construction accordin to Figures 4 to 6 the rollers possess a longitudinal sectional shape particularly adapted to correspond to the cross sectional shape of the object to be wrapped. In this modiication be less resilient. In order to facilitate the manufacture of these rollers, they may be composed of a `plurality of .discs 20 secured upon the hub portions 21, as appears from the representation at 19 dividual parts may be formed of soft rubber or of any other yielding material. In this modified construction there may likewise-be provided a yielding manner of journaling the shafts of the rollers combined with the yielding or resilient construction of the rollers themselves. The invention has been shown and described in its broad principal aspects only, and it should be understood that it is not limited to the-` particular embodiments shown by way of exemplification only,y but it is susceptible of other modifications 'and changes, as-will suggest themselves to the expert, except as defined in the claims here-v unto appended.
