Application filed May 25, 1926.
My invention relates to towels, such as are ordinarily used in the hand for drying purposes. It has for its objects; to provide a more convenient form of towel than has heretofore been used; to minimize the dropping of towels in use; sity of hand gripping or holding; and to provide the various other advantages and results made evident from the following specifications.
I accomplish the objects of my invention as illustrated in the accompanying drawings which form a part of this specification and in which Figure 1 shows a side View of my improved towel folded flat. Figure 2 shows a plan view of the towel fabric. Figure 3 shows the towel in use on a human hand.
My towel comprises an elongated body A of suitable fabric, two sides a-a of which are relatively parallel. The portions of the edge at one end C are cut as at 00 to define the sides of an equilateral triangle. The remaining end 0 is at right angles to the sides ct -a. is folded medially and lengthwise along the dotted line D which passes through the apical point of the end C so that the portions c0 of the end C lie upon one an other and are stitched or hemmed as at B thereby to form a pocket as shown in Fig ure 3.

but claim all such equivalents and variations as may well be construed to fall within the scope of the appended claims.
If desired more than one end may be finished in the manner herein described and set forth. It is also possible to have the towels woven or knit seamless.
I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States of America:
1. A towel having one end formed with inclined edges meeting at a point interme diate the sides of the towel, and the portions of said edge to either side of the intermediate point being stitched together thereby 1 to form a pocket.
2. A towel having one end provided with inclined edges meeting at a point intermediate the sides of the towel to form the sides of an isosceles triangle, and the portions of said edge to either side of the inter mediate point being stitched together there-' by to form a pocket.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature.
