GLOVE.
Application filed larch 25, 1926. Serial No. 97,360.
at the cuff thereof a normally closed and concealed receptacle for the storage of jewelry and cash.
Further objects of the invention are to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth, a glove provided with the attachments referred to which is simple in its construction and arrangement, strong, durable. compact, thoroughly eflicient in its use, readily set up and comparatively inexpensive to manufacture.
With the foregoingand other objects in View the invention consists of the novel con struction, combination and arran ement. of parts as hereinafter more speci cally described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, whereinare shown embodiments of the invention, but it is to be understood that changes, variations and modifications can be resorted to which fall within the scope of the claims hereunto appended.
In the drawings wherein like reference characters denote corresponding parts throughout the several views 7 t Figure 1 is an elevation of a glove, in accordance with this invention, looking towards the palm thereof and with the cuff and concealing flap extended.
Figure 2 is a viewsimilar to Figure 1 lookin towards the back of the glove andwith t e concealing flap and cuif extended. Figure 3 is a section on line 3-3 Figure 1. Figure 4 is a cross sectional view of the glove with the concealing flap secured n closed position. I
Figure 5 is an elevation of a modificat on of a glove in accordance with this invent on looking towards the palm thereof and w th the concealing flap and cufi extended.
Figure 6 is a view similar to Figure 5 looking towards the back of the glove and with the concealing flap and cuff extended. Figure 7 is a cross sectional view through the body of the glove and illustrating the concealing flap secured in closed position.
Figure 8 is a cross sectional view through the cufl of the glove and with the latter onnected in closed position.
In both forms of glove as shown, each form comprises a one piece .body portion, formed from single ply of material and bent upon itself to provide an outer section,
which is the back portion of the glove, and
an inner section, which is the palm portion of the glove. The sections of the body portlons are connected together at their edges.
The. outer section indicated generally at 1 is of greater length than the inner section, indicated generally at 2. The said sections are so constructed as to provide, when connected together, the finger stalls 3 and thumb stall 4. The section 1 of each form shown, has projecting from its side edge at a point inwardly with respect to the thumb stall 4 an integral imperforate rectangular extension of substantial width and length to provide a one-ply concealing flap formed throughout of the same material as that of the outer section 1 and imperforate throughout. The flap shown in Figures 1, 2 and 4 isindicated at 5 and the flap shown in Figures 5, 6 and 7 is indicated at 6. The outer section 1, of each of the forms shown, at one side thereof is formed with a rectangular extension of greater length and width than the concealing flap. The rectangular extension is arranged in proximity to the flap 5. The rectangular extension in connection with that part from which it projects provides. The rectangular exthe cuff of the glove.
tension shown in Figures 1 and 2 is, indicatedat 7 and the rectangular extension shown in Figures 5, 6 and 8 is indicated at 8.
Referring toFigures 1 to 4 of the drawings the reference character 9 indicates the cuff portion of the glove and positioned in proximity thereto and secured on the outer face of the section 1, which is the back of the glove, is a frame 10 for connecting a mirror 1.1 to said section 1. The mirror 11 is positioned with respect .to the flap 5 so that when the latter is closed it will conceal the mirror 11.. The inner face of the flap 5 has secured thereto a frame 12 which constitutes a holder for connecting to the flap 5 a card 13 provided with the address 14 of the wearer of the glove. The section 1 ad j acent to one side of the frame 10 is provided with a snap fastener 14 which coacts with a is connected to the inner section 1, the
address holder is positioned against the frame of the mirror. See Figure 4. The outer face of the section 1, at the cuff 9 thereof is provided with a set of snap fast ener members 16, which coact with a set of snap fasteners 17, carried by the outer end of the extension 7 for the purpose of maintaining the cuff in closed position about the wrist of the wearer.
Referring to Figures 5 to 8 of the drawings the outer face of the section 1 in proximity to the cuff portion 18 of the glove has secured therewith a frame 19 which constitutes a holder for retaining a card 20 provided with the address 21 of the wearer. The frame 19 is arranged on what may be termed the back of the glove. The flap 6 is adapted to conceal the 'wearers address and when in concealing .position overlaps the frame 19, and is detachably secured in such position by a snap fastener member 22 carried by the section 1, and which coacts with a snap fastener member 23 carried by the outer end of the concealing flap 6. When the flap 6 conceals the address of the wearer of the glove, it is in the position as shown in Figure 7 of the drawings.
Secured to the inner face of the extension 8 and of less length than the length of thelatter, but of the same width, is a pocket forming member 24. The inner end and each side of said member 24 is secured to the extension 8 by a row of stitching 25. The member 24 in connection with the extension 8 provides a pocket 26 opening near the outer end of the extension 8.
The mouth of the pocket 26 is closed by bending the extension 8 inwardly upon itself as shown in Figure 8 and further indicated-at 27. The cuff 18 of the love is formed with a set of fastener mem rs 28, in proximity to the inner terminus of the extension 8. The extension 8 at its free end adjacent the mouthof thef-pocket-26 is provided with a set of fastener members 29 and said extension 8 is furthermore provided ad'acent the fastener members 29 with a set of uple'x fastener members 30. When the fastener members-29h) provide for closing the mouth of thepocket 26.
It is thought the many advantages of a glove, in accordance with this invention can be readily understood, and although the preferred embodiments of the invention are as illustrated and described, yet it is to be understood that changes in the details of construction can be had which will fall within the scope of the invention as claimed.

4. A glove comprising a body portion bent upon itself to form an outer and an inner section opposing each other and secured together, a mirror secured to the outer face of said outer section, a wearers address holding means, and an extension projecting from one side edge of said outer section and adapted to have its free end-- secured to the outer face of said outer section, said extension carrying said holding means and concealing the same and said mirror when the flap is detachably connected to the outer face of said outer section.
. 5. A glove comprising a body portion bent upon itself to form an outer and an inner section opposing each other and secured together,'said outer section being of greater length than and projecting from,
the inner end of said inner section, and an extension projecting from one side of that portion of said outer section which extends inwardly from the inner end of said inner such section and providin in connection with portion, when t e free end of such extension is secured to the outer face of such portion, the out; of the glove, and means carried by said extension and coactin with means carried by said outer section or'detachably connecting the free "end of said extension to said outer section.
6. A glove comprisin a one-piece body portion bent upon itsel to form an outer and an inner section' op osing each other and secured together, said outer section being of greater length than and projecting from the inner end of said inner section,
