In the operation of a multigraph machine,"the paperis automatically fed to the type drum by tie feeding arm 12 in the usual manner now employed in machines of 7 this type and as the paper 1s fed to. the drum therefrom and a printed sheet is automatically discharged received by the; shelf and as this operation continues the sheets rest on the self in disarranged pile form' with the edges of one sheet overlapping the edges of the one below. It is therefore an object of the invention to retain the sheets in an even and neat pile so that the same can be convenientlyremoved at the proper time without first manually jogging the paper and this is accomplished by the use of the jogging fingers which move in the slots transversely of the shelf jogging} the pile of printedsheets of paper against the side wall toward which they are moved. The movemerit of these fingers is in'unison with and 'uponeach operative stroke of the feeding arm. V
