IMPROVEMENT IN PARL-OR-FOUNTAINS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 159,872, dated February 16, 1875; application filed December 5, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, H. WENZEL, of New York city and State. have invented an Improvement in Parlor-Fountains, of which the following is a specification Figure l of drawing is a vertical, and Fig. 2 a horizontal, section.
The invention will rst be described, and then pointed out in the claim.
A represents the basin, divided by diaphragm B, and connected to a base-chamber, C, by waste-pipe D and air-pipe D1. Air is forced by the upward pressure of water in base C, through pipefDl, over the water in the chamber below diaphragm B, and, by its compressive force, ejects the liquid through the nozzle E. The ejected water falls back into basin, and is carried by .pipe D into the base U. This is al1 old; but with this I combine a suitable pump, F, which is preferably oper- A pump, F, arranged in the base-chamber,
C, and connected by pipe D2 with the lower chamber of the fountain A B, the latter being provided with the usual Waste-pipe D, air-pipe D1, and ejecting-nozzle E, as and for the purpose specitied.
