I claim:

1. A strainer comprising an open topped cup-like body formed of foraminous material, said body being vertically divided to form tWo complemental parts, means for hingedly fastening one pair of adjacent edges upon said parts together, and means for detachably securing the other pair of adjacent edges upon said parts together. g

A strainer comprising an open-topped cup-like body formed of fora-ruinous material, said body being vertically divided to form tWo complement-a1 parts, means for hingedly fastening one pair of ad acent edges upon sald parts together, and means 3 for detachably securing the other pair of adjacent edges upon said parts together, one

oi the edges of each pair of adjacent edges being so constructed as to overlap the adjacent edge.

3. A strainer comprising an annular ring and a bottom conical tip, rods connecting tachably securing the other pair of adjacent edges upon said halves together.
