In combination, a forced draft grate supporting pan, a cylinder depending from said pan, a cap closable over the lower end of said cylinder and provided with a cylindrical flange telescopically associated with the cylinder, and springs normally heldin'g,` said cap seated on the lower end of said cylinder and preventing the removal of the cylindrical flange from the cylinder under ordinary accumulative pressure but allowing the removal of said cylindrical flange from the cylinder under explosive pressure.

In combination, a forced draft grate supporting pan, a cylinder extending from the pan, a cap on the outer end of the cylinder, a cylindrical flange formed on the cap and tclescopically associated with the cylinder, a bar extending diametrically across the cap and terminating in curved extensions beyond the edge of the cap7 hooks mounted on the pan, and springs detachably engaged with said curved extensions, and of such a tension to normally hold the cap seated on the outer end of the cylinder and to prevent the removal of the cylindrical flange from the cylinder under accumula-tive pressure but allowing the removal of the cap and flange from the cylinder under explosive pressure.
5. ln combination, a forced draft grate supporting pan, a cylinder extendingl from the pan, a second cylinder telescopica-ily associated with the first cylinder, a cap on the second cylinder closable over the outer end of the first cylinder, and spring means associated with the cap to normally hold it seated on the outer end of the first cylinder and of such a tension as to prevent the removal of the second cylinder from the Iirst cylinder under ordinary accumulative pressure but allowing the removal of the second cylinder from the first cylinder under explosive pressure.
