To all whom it may concern."

Be it known that I, CARL GOLDBERG, a citizen of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, residing at Haida, Czechoslovakian Republie, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in or Relating to Flower Bowls or Vases, of which the following is a specification.

My invention consists in a combined lamp and flower vase, the translucent base containing the illuminating means and the translucent bowl forming the container for the water to hold the flowers.

r The edge 6 of the dome-shaped portion of the bowl is also fashioned in'a flange-like manner, so that the bowl fits exactly on the base thereby preventing the bowl from falling ofi' the base. I The bowl can be filled with water, in which natural flowers are arranged.

' The decorative efieet can be still further enhanced by placing over the dome shaped portion of the bowl, a glass bell 7 provided at the top with some artistic ornamentation such, for instance, as a flower. At the top the hell 7 has small openings 8 so that the air can circulate through it when it is placed in position. By using a suitable combina-. tion of dilferent colours for the several parts, as for instance the base and the bell, the efiect can be still further varied; at the same time the bell 7 also serves to decrease, the temperature and light intensity of the bulb placed in the base.

What I claim is 1. A combined lamp and flower vase comprising a base made of translucent material, and having an opening at the top, a bowl-\ shaped part of translucent. material fitting said base, and formed with an upwardly extending cavity covering the opening in said base, and illuminating means in said base extending through said opening into said cavity, and a perforated member of translucent material extending over said cavity and being spaced therefrom.

2. A combined lamp and flower vase, comprising a hollow base made of translucent material, and having an opening at the top surrounded by a flange, a bowl-shaped part of translucent material adapted to be supported on said base being held in position thereon by said flange and having an up 'wardly extending cavity covering the opening in said base, illuminating means extendmg through said hollow baseinto said cavity, and a bell-shaped member of translucent material provided with openings above said cavity being spaced therefrom.
