Referring to the drawings,especially to Figs. 1 and 2, 10 indicates a housing having an opening 11 formed in the kfront wall ront elevational view ofv the thereof, and closed by a metal closure 13 having a peripheral frame 14and iixed to the frame 14'by bolts 15. The closure 13 has a sight opening 16 formed therein adjacent the top edge thereof and a sight opening 17 formed therein adjacentthe bottom edge thereof. Referring to Figs.` 3 and 6 there is shown a support 32 fixed to the base member 26 by suitable bolts 33 vand provided at its lower a converging direction to provide a bearing 4portion 36 atthe top thereof. From the description herein and brief description of the operation of the mechanism involved it will be seen that I not only provide a vending machine but also provide a device which Will be amusing and such amusement can be had at an economical cost.

IVhile I have illustrated and described the preferred form of construction for carrying my invention into effect, this is capable of variation and modification Without departing from the spirit of the invention. I, therefore, do not Wish to be limited to the precise details of construction set forth, but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come Without the scope of the appended claims.

Having described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:

l. A device of the class described including a housing having two openings therein, a rotatable disc Vmember for each opening, arranged Within the housing and having portions visible through its opening, means for manually operating said disc members, a spring-drawn shutter, a coin controlled trip device for holding the shutter against the action of its spring in position to obstruct the view of one disk member, means Within the casing for actuating said trip device to allow the opening of the shutter, and means actuated upon rotation of the disc members adapted to re-engage the shutter with said trip device after each opening operation.

2. A device of the class described including a housing` having sight openings formed in a Wall thereof, members Within the housing and having portions visible through the sight openings and operatively connected together'for rotation and having their sides adjacent the sight openings covered With disc shaped members having printed matter thereon, a coin-controlled trip device, a shutter adapted to be held by said trip device in position to close one of said sight openings, means Within the housing adapted to move the shutter upon its release to open the sight opening, and means under the Icontrol of the first named members for causing the shutter to close said sight opening.

A device of the class described including a housing having sight openings formed in a Wall thereof, members Within the housing having portions visible through the sight openings and operatively connected together for rotation, a shutter adapted to close one of the sight openings, .coin controlled means for effecting the release of the shutter, means for opening the shutter on its release, means actuated upon rotation of said members adapted to move the shutter to close the sight opening, a delivery chute Within the housing and having a portion projecting beyond the front Wall thereof, a receptacle Within the housing adapted to receive a confection to be delivered through the chute, and means operable by the first named shutter moving means adapted to deliver the confection from the receptacle to the delivery chute.
