EAR-PHONE ATTACHMENT.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOHN E. \Voon, a ciri zen of the United States, residing at Pitts field, in the coanty of Berkshire and Stats oi: Massachusetts, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ear-phone At iachments, of which the following is a specincation.

This invention relates to ear-phone at tachnients and is particularly adapted for radio uses.

The primary object of my invention is to provide a light, simple, compact, quick detachable attachment for the conventional car-phones now commonly used in radio for the purpose of excluding to a certain extent, if desired, external sounds.

A further object of my invention is to provide a compressible cushion around the outside of the periphery of the attachment which contacts with the head of the user to thereby prevent the so-called radio rash occasioned by the use of the ordinary earphone.

Still another feature of the invention resides in the fact that the attachment is so constructed that the compressible cushion aforesaid is situated in such a manner as to completely surround the ear of the user to thereby prevent the ingress of foreign noises.

Still another and important feature of the invention is the fact that the ear-phone attachment contemplated by my invention spaces the ear-phone diaphragm from the war of the user a considerable distance to avoid the disagreeable and harmful results on the ear of the user, due to static conditions of the air or the condition of the phone.
