, IMPROVEMENT IN COMPOUNDS FOR COUGH-SIRUP.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 153,933, dated August 11, 1874 application filed June 6, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JESSE G. COOMBS, of Millville, Cumberland county, New Jersey, have invented a new and Improved Oompouud for Oough-Sirup, of which the following is a specification:
Myimproved compound for cough-sirup consistsof tincture of lobelia, one-half ounce; tincture of myrrh, one-half ounce; tincture of capsicum, one-fourth ounce; tincture of bloodroot, one-fourth ounce; alcohol, one and onehalf ounce; oil of anise, one-eighth ounce; Winter-green, one-eighth ounce. Mixed in one pint of molasses.
The proportions may be Varied to some extent.
A compound formed of winter-greenand capsicum mixed in molasses with alcohol, blood-root, myrrh, and oil of anise, substantially as and for the purpose specified.
