This head 8 comprises a body, against the opposite sides of which the parallel flanges of the angle bars 7, 7 lie, and above the other flanges the head provides a fixed jaw 9 adapted to engage the work and which ex tends transversely across the body portion and work-supporting flanges of the angle 1 bars. The combination with a clamp having a work supporting body, and a pressure foot rod, of a pressure foot to engage work on said body, and a support on said rod adjustable longitudinally thereof for supporting said pressure foot and having a plurality of positive seats to receive said pressure foot to accommodate work of different thicknesses.

The combination with a clamp having a work supporting body, and a pressure foot rod, of a support on said rod adjustable longitudinally thereof projecting transversely therefrom and having a series of holes, and a pressure foot having a fastening member adapted to extend through any oneof said holes in the pressure foot.

In a clamp, the combination of a jaw having an apertured body portion with grooves in the side walls of the aperture, a clamping screw loose in said aperture, a clamping nut on said screw at one side of the jaw, a connecting strip at the other side of the jaw connected to said screw and lying in said grooves, and an adjustable jaw engaging said connecting strip.
