COMBINED TOY AND SWEETMEAT.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE INGRAM, a subject of the King of Great Britain, of 161 Parnell Road, Old Ford, London, Eng- 6 land, residing at London, England, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in a Combined Toy and'Sweetmeat, of which the following is a specification.
The subject of' this invention. is a com- 10 bined toy and sweetnieat, adapted to enable a child (or other person) whilst enjoying the pleasure of absorbing the sweetmeat by 'suc- -tion, to derive amusement from, in effect,
blowing bubbles.
The combined toy and sweetmeat of the present invention consists of an inflatable balloon having a mouthpiece constituted by a tube formed of a soluble and masticable confectionery substance such as liquorice.
In the accompanying drawings, Figures 1 and 2 are side elevations of one example of the combined toy and sweetmeat, shewing the balloon in the deflated and inflated conditions respectively.

The tube 0, which may be of any convenient length, and ofsuitable diameter, is preferably secured within the neck I) by the contraction of the latter about the end of the tube, the neck being for this pur- 35 pose made of a size to require being sprung over the tube.
The person using the combined toy and sweetmeat places the outer end of the tube 0 2. A combined toy and sweetmeat consisting in the combination with an inflatable balloon, of a mouthpiece therefor including a tube formed ofa confection.
3. A combined toy and sweetmeat, consisting in the combination with an inflatable balloon, of a mouthpiece therefor constituted by a tube formed of a soluble and masticable confectionery substance.
4. A combined toy and sweetmeat, consisting in the combination of an inflatable balloon formed of thin elastic material having an apertured neck, and a mouthpiece therefor constituted by a tube formed of a soluble and masticable confectionery sub stance secured within said neck by the contriction of the latter about one end of the tu e.
5. A combined toy and sweetmeat, consist; ing in the combination of an inflatable balloon formed of thin elastic indiarubber and having a neck, and a mouthpiece therefor constituted by a tube formed of liquorice v secured to the balloon by insertion within the neck.
