B e it known that I, MARTIN EITHOLIAS, a citizen Of the United States, residing at State of Oklahoma, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Drills, of which the following is a specification.
This invent ion relates to improvements in drills of' the well boring type 'and has for its object to provide an. improved guide sleeve carried by the drill rod adjacent the drill head which is` of" such diameter as to approximately fit the bore and, being engaged with the wall thereof, prevents vibratory movement of the drill incident to variations vin the 'quality orA character'of the earth or rock and the consequent possible impairment in efiiciency of operation of the'boring tool. Further objects of the invention are to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth,
a drill for well boring and which is Simple in its construction and arrangement, strong, thoroughly ellicient in its use, readily assembled, Vandcomparatively inexpensive to manufacture.
Vith the foregoing and other objects in view, the' invention consists ofthe novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts, as hereinafter' more specifically described and illustrated in the accompanyiup'l drawings,' wherein is shown an embodiment of the invention, but it is to be understood that changes, variations and modifications can'be resorted to which come within the 'scope of the claims hereunto appended.
