Be it known that WILLIAM C. Hosanna, a. citizen of the United States, residing at Bufialo, in the county of Erie and State of 6 New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Adjustment-Indicating Means for Photographic-Printing A. paratus and Other Apparatus, of which e following is a specification.
This invention relates more particularly to adjustment indicating means for photograpihic printing or composing apparatus of t e lrind disc osed in mhyi if lication for patent, Serial No. 248,623 e in of wh1ch the present application is a division.

Furthermore the invention is not limited to the particular construction of the indicating means herein shown and described.
I claim as my invention:
1. In a photogra hic printin apparatus, the combination wi an adjusts. is member, of a aduated scale and a microscope, one of which devices moves with said adjustable member past said other device, and a screen in fixed relation to said microscope on which said microscope projects an enla d ims e of the portion of said scale opposite the m1- croscope.
2. In a photographic rintin apparatus, the combination of an a justab e member, a graduated scale fixed on said adjustable member, a microscope past which said scale moves, and a screen on which said microscope rejects an nlarged image of a portion .0 said scale.
3. In a photogra hic printin apparatus, the combination wit an adjusta le member, of a graduated scale, and a microscope, one of which is fixed on said adjustable member and moves past said other device, and a screen in fixed relation to said microscope on which said microscope projects an enlarged image of the portion of said scale opposite the microscope, said screen having a art cooperating with the scale image to indicate the adjustment of said adjustable member.
4. In a photographic printin ap aratus, the combination with an adjusts is member. of a raduated scale and a. microscope, one of which devices moves with said adjustable member past said other device, and a screen in fixed relation to-said microscope'on which said microscope projects an enlarged image of the portion of said scale opposite the microscope and which is graduated to indicate subdivisions of the projected scale graduations.
5. In a photogra hic printing apparatus, the combination wit an adjustable member, of a graduated scale and a microscope, one of which devices partakes in the adjustments of said adjustable member and moves past said other device, and a screen in fixed relation to the microscope on which an enlarged image of the portion of said scale opposite microsco the microscope is projected by said microscope.
6. In a photographic rintin apparatus,

The combination with an adjustable member and means for efi'ectin minute adgraduated scale for indicating adjustments of said member, and amicroscope associated with said scale and one of which devices is movable relsdzivel to the other for projecting enlarged images of successive portions of said scale, and means in fixed relation to said microscope cooperating with said microscope to display said enlarged images.
