IMPROVEMENT IN WRINGING-MACHINES.

A is an ordinary bench or frame; B, a platform, hingedat G to bench A; D,a cam-shaped devioeto ease the pressure from the rollers while at rest; E, a pin for the purpose of guiding the hinged platform and holding vit Yfirmly to its place. The rollers F F are supported by standards S, securely fastened in bench A, and are connected with platform B by rods Gr.
The hinges may be of any convenient kind,
and either stationary or detachable.
A vessel of Water or other Weight placed upon platform B creates pressure While Wrin gin g the goods.
I claim as my invention- 1. The combination of the hinged platform B, connecting-rods G, and rollers F F with the bench A, provided with standards S S, as and for the purpose specified.
2. In combination with the frame A, provided with the guide-pin E and hinged plat form B, arranged as described, the eccentric D, as and for the purpose set forth. 4
