The invention relates to: improvement in metallic tluines, which a. thin metallic trough is used forrdnveying water for power, irrigation or analogoiis purposes,'the trough being formed or successive sections of proper curvature and joined together to form "a continuous channel. in order toffacilitate the assembling of flnmes of this character the joints between the several sections should lie-Inside with a minimum: of separable parts and without rivets or bolts,

A practical embodiment of the invention is disclosed in. the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification in which similernumerals of reference indicate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
