v Be it known that I, VINCENZO MINNELLI,

a citizen of the United States, residing at Pittston, in the county of Luzerne and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in. a. Phonograph- Amplifier Mounting; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of 'the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention relates toa mounting or 1p upporting means for phonograph ampliers.

A prime object is to provide means which may be efficiently disposed on Y and secured to a support separate from as well as on a phonograph cabinet, when desired, for mounting a phonograph ampliier, particulal'ly ,of the general type covered by Letters Patent No. 1,395,053 issued to me on October 25, 1921, in order that such an amplier may be used as an attachment for and in place of the usual amplifier means of phonographs to enable thevadvantages of such an improved amplifier to be attained in existing phonographs as well is initially equipped with such an amplifier.

Anotherobject is to provide in an article of this kind a base to swivel a supporting pedestal or frame, and with cooperating means on the base and securing means for sections of the amplier tolimit the swing ing movement ofthe ainpliier.

Additional objects and advantages will become apparent from a consideration of the description following taken in connection with accompanying drawings illustrating one practical embodiment.

The mounting employed vconsists of' a4 base section lll primarily a relatively thin sheet of metal having an arcuate Wall at 16 which serves to rigidity or reinforce the sheet. Such base plate is preferably rigidly attached to the support as by means of screws or other tastening elements passed through holes 18 therein. A pedestal or supporting iframe is provided at 19. Such pedestal may have a standard 2O recessed at 21 in its lower tace to contain bearing balls 212L to engage base lll so that the standard may turn or swivel thereon with minimum friction. In order to fasten the base plate lll and support 15 against accidental detachment, a. set screw or the like 22 may be passed through the base and into the standard 20. Such screw is loose in the base le so as not to interfere With turning of the support relatively to the base.

Extending integrally and laterally from the standard 2O and across Wall 16 is the lower section Q3 of a supporting arm generally designated Q4. Integral With the arm section 23 are inclined supporting arm sections Q5 which conform to the inclinations ot sections 10 and 11 to directly en gage the same preferably being dished as at E26 at the outer end portions, to further conform to the exterior shape ot such sections 10 and 11. Integral. with and depending from the arm 24C is a stop lug 27 which is interposed between the stop lugs 17 and adapted to abut the lsame to limit the swinging movement ot the ampliiier A.
