Be it'known that l, CHARLEs R. LEAGUE, a citizen of the United States, residing at hwahnee, in the county of Madera and` State oi" California, have invented a new and useiiulWall Mold, of which the following is a specification. v
This invention relates to molds and more particularly to a novel form of mold especially designed in the construction ot" concrete walls or "the like.
The primary object of the invention is to provide an adjustable mold having means forsupportingthe same in an uprightr position, while the plastic` material is being poured therein. i*
Another object of the invention is to provide a mold which may be disassembled to permit ot' its beinginoved from placeto place in the construction of al wall. l n f A still further object of the invention is to provide a moldwherein'the lside walls thereof are provided with ribs tio-engage the upper edges of a concrete structure toSupport the side walls of the mold in a vertical position.
W ith the foregoing and other objects in view which will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the coinbination and arrangement of parts and in` the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes 1n the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed, maybe madey within the scope of what is claimed, without departing from the spirit of the invention. Referring to the drawings I l Figure 1 is an end elevational view oit a mold constructed in accordance with the present invention.

An auxiliary bracket 18 is secured to the inwardlyfextending portionl of the arm k111,*andv is alsoapertured to accommodate the rod 16 to insure the samebeing positioned vertically to support the core 17 inl a true vertical position.

the lower end of the arm being designed to engagethe wall 6 in any suitable and well known manner. rJhe arm 23 which coopcrates with the arm 21 is formed in sections, the section 241 thereof being provided with elongated openings 25 that accommodate the securing bolts 26 to permit the device to be used in building walls of various widths, it being` understood that if it is desiredto provide a greater distance between the arms 21 and 23, the bolts 26 are renio'vecland placed in other openings of the sertion 2d.
The section 2J: is also'it'ormed with an operating lever 26, which is provided with suitable means to engage in the rack 27 so 'the lei-: ers 22 and 26 will ybe held in proper relation with each other to prevent movement orhthe arms 21 and23 under thepressure or the plastic material poured between the walls 5 and 6. l
In order that the arm may be held in close engagement with the wall 5, set screws 28 are provided, which set screws may be operated to cause the inner ends thereoic to closely engage the wall 5, there being provided a pivoted bolt 29, carriedby the wall 5, which bolt extends through the arm 23 and secured by means of the winged nut 30, for holding the arm 23 to the wall 5.
The core 17 which forms an important 'feature of the invention is preferably hollow and is provided with an integral bar 31 formed with an opening to accommodate the bolt 3 2 or" the supporting arm 16, the bolt providing means or securing the core to the arm 16. v
Ribs 33 are formed on the walls 5 and 6 the ribs being formed with openings 34 to accomi'nodate suitable bolts, whereby an end section, not shown may be secured at the ends of the side walls 5 and 6 to form an end of a concrete wall,`the end section acting to support the plastic material between the walls 5 and 6; t
In the use oi'1 the mold, the side walls 5 and 6 are moved to their proper positions, the arms 21 and 23 being positioned to support the walls 5 and 6 in their vertical positions. The core 17 is now moved to a position between the walls 5 and 6 and the plastic material poured between the core and walls 5 and 6.

what is claimed as new is 1. ln a mold, separable side walls, pivoted means for holding the side walls in spaced relation with each other, angle irons secured to one of the side walls, an arm, means carried by the arm and engagingthe angle irons to permit of movement of the arm longitudinally olf the side walls, said arm having an inwardly extending portion, a core supported by the inwardly extending portion, and a removable apron supported adjacent to the upper edge of one of the walls.
